Bayonne Medical Center

Thé team in thé maternite are really arrogant and don't care about the family's they take in , instead of caring , supporting and motivating the mother and father they drive you crazy and take things in their hands, the system doesn't work and don't function at all , I am a new father and I don't appreciate what they a doing . It's really difficult to see a mother in pain and your child .
I don't want to mention names yet but if I have to I will so that this doesn't happen to anyone else it's really heart breaking and sad !!

Deeply disappointed with this hospital and how they operate. Registration area too busy chatting about their work schedule & nonessential matters. Woman behind the podium in the ER has an airpod bud in her ear and on her phone the whole time.
Husband came in- waited an hour and they couldn't even bother to get him triaged! Totally understand the ER may be busy. Totally understand if there isn't a bed. But how can you tell whether a patient is stable enough to wait or not if you can't bother to take simple vitals???

Do yourself & your loved ones a favor. Don't bring them here! Take the extra few minutes and take them elsewhere.

I had to go and have a procedure performed called an endoscopy. Same-day surgery. I had to go the day before for Covid test and registration and then the next day I went for the endoscopy.. the staff could not have been more helpful, more accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Everything was clean. Of course Dr. Ramasamy is always wonderful The staff was amazing - I was in an out I highly recommend it, and a special shout out to Judy and Josephine. They were great!

The Medical care was Great,
The food was phenomenal.
Sadly they turn around and
Said the medication has been put in the pharmacy department OK I understand that the only thing I had a problem with is my asthma pump !!!!
REALLY ?!?!?! SOMEONE NEEDS TO EXPLAIN THAT ONE TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rudest nurses you can find. Rude to patients, families, and to medical providers.

I WISH I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS. seriously the worse service ever!!! Their infusion center staff people are so unhelpful rude and ignorant. I have never been treated with such neglect and attitude. I was scheduled for a 1pm appointment. I had to wait about thirty minutes to see a registration clerk. the registration clerk calls up to let them know I'm there and they want to reschedule me. Then they told me they don't have an authorization. why was this not checked before they scheduled me, instead of having me drive from two hours away and waste my time. their reply to me was "that's how life goes." truly the worst service ever I expected more from carepoint facility being that I work for them. Truly upsetting.

If I could give it ZERO STARS I would. This terrible hospital is so dirty it's unimaginable! The nurses are not friendly and roughly handle elderly patients. My 89 year old dad was the recipient of their roughness. He even contracted cellulitis on his hand where they had put an IV!!

Their cafeteria, if you want to call it that, is underwhelming. Cereal, stale bread and cold breakfast offerings and not much more.

Parking is a joke.

I could add so much more But I don't have the time. Do yourself a favor and put yourself or your loved ones in Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City. So much better

If there are negative stars I would use them. I wouldn't send a cat to this hospital for care. Disastrous stay for my mother after serious emergency surgery, no care, no communication and a case of covid later, she was released with the wrong after care information. She was given a name of the doctor who performed her surgery, except, that Doctor did not perform the procedure and to this day, we don't know who did. No one called to follow up and schedule a follow up appt. The staff are ridiculously overwhelmed and borderline indifferent. Unless you cannot survive a trip to another local hospital, do not go anywhere near this place.

i had my surgery done at Bayonne Hospital last September and when i was at recovery room, i was trying to get their attention that there is something wrong andbthe pain that i was experiencing that day was nit normal. i had multiple surgeries before and this time, it's supposedly just a battery replacement for my back stimulator. No one is paying attention to me although i can hear them in background. i was right that there is something went wrong during the battery replacement that was done in Bayonne Hospital. almost 7 months later the pain where the wound is, still hurting bad so i went to my specialist and he saw that there is an infection inside. so he has to remove the battery and have to wait 4 weeks till my body heals and make sure that all the infections are gone. This time it was done at Overlook hospital and the difference is night and day. at Overlook you don't need to call someone cause there is always someone looking after you. Overlook staff are so friendly and making you feel better cause they understand you are in pain. At Bayonne Hospital, the way they treat you is more dreadful than the pain itself.

I was there for 7 HOURS!! 7pm ON THE DOT to after 1 AM! I was there for back pain... The security guard was very rude! Someone asked for the bathroom and she yelled at them! The staff seemed unhelpful and bored. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN IN MY LIFE! God forbid I am in an accident taken by an ambulance and this is the closest hospital, I will tell the driver turn around and take me to City MD!! They didn't have a bed for me and put me in a chair in a corner... Nothing I wrote here is exaggerated. Please have some respect for yourself and never come here!!
