Barker and Sons Plumbing & Rooter

James Kelley came out today to assist on ensure two lines( gas and water ) to an existing BBQ area that we torn down and will use in the future. James educated me on the best route and safety cap what is needed. I appreciate the time and effort he put in today's raining day. I would totally use them again on my on going projects. We have used Barker now a few times, all minor, non emergency issues. The office staff is great at following up and letting me know our status.
Our most recent project was FINALLY running water to the fridge.
Greg O. came out did the site survey and gave us a fair quote. Greg came back out to do the job. He had to run new copper down in the crawlspace, and successfully got the water to the fridge.
Greg went out of his way to swap out water filters I had already purchased on-line. Then even though there was water to the 12 yr old fridge, Greg wanted to make sure water was getting to the ice tray and water dispenser on the freezer door.
Success for the ice tray, but there was something blocking the water line inside the freezer door.
we tried to troubleshoot this, but this was my fridge issue, NOT a Barker issue.
We have been happy campers each time Barker has done work for us, (and we have recommended them to our neighbors as well).
We will definitely have Barker out again whenever we have plumbing projects!

We had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain. After fiddling around with a drain auger, lots of drano and a small prayer I finally gave in and scheduled an appointment online. It was so convenient and they were very prompt to confirm my booking.

Peter D arrived promptly after I was notified that he was on his way. He was very nice and very professional and made very clear what we were to expect from his consultation and service. The estimate we were given for the clog removal for the sink and also one added on for a tub that needed some TLC was very straightforward and fair. Peter D did a great job with everything and obviously knew what he was doing! He even was able to fix the pipe under the sink once it was unclogged as it was leaking and had not been done correctly the first time. He was very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips for maintaining our now draining pipes.

When we need a plumber in the future I would not hesitate again, I would use this company again in a heartbeat! I would certainly recommend them to my friends and family.

I'm a DIY guy and almost never call for professional help, but today I got myself in a bind and needed quick and professional help before my mistake ruined a new wood floor. Barker & Sons' chat system helped me to quickly make an appointment for the same evening and Carlos P. showed up and saved the day.

Carlos was exactly what I hope for on the rare occasion I call for a pro. He was a great communicator and extremely professional. The solution to my problem was way over my head and he handled it like a veteran. He even gave me some great advice and a little help to finish my project.

I hated to have to call the cavalry to bail me out today but at least I really know I got my money's worth and more with Carlos and Barker & Sons. And the next time I need help with plumbing, I know exactly who I'll call.

I had my tankless water heater quit working. I contacted Barker and Sons who know how to hire customer service talent as the lady who took my call was friendly and knowledgeable... Nick responded quickly and diagnosed my problem. I did not take his advice and tried other methods much to my wife's chagrin. In the long run Barker and Sons recommendations are what we went with and will always utilize.
We have used them twice and will contact them in the future if need be.

Orlando is amazing! He's friendly, knowledgeable and has excellent follow through. I'd highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.

I called for a simple drain cleaning and from the moment the technician arrived I felt like the company was trying to upsell me. It was like sitting through a Timeshare presentation. I explained what I needed and he kept asking questions about the rest of the house. He snaked the drain for $250 then told me there was a lot of grease and convinced me that he needed to also do a power wash which brought the price to$1069 to clean a drain. Then his supervisor showed up with his camera and tried to convince me that I needed to replace some pipes for over $14,000. Of course I declined. I don't recommend this company. Next time I'll rent a drain cleaner from Home Depot for $49 and do it myself.

Today Carlos P fixed my leaking toilet. He is very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and explains things well. He is 10+.
Barker & Sons is expensive. But their service technicians are excellent.

Carlos P came out to my place because the temp water heater stopped working. He was able to reset it and gave us instructions how to address this if it happens again. Thank you Barker and Sons for the fast response and service.

Jimmy came out to our house yesterday and provided a lot of great insight and advice for our plumbing needs. He spent a lot of time with me and provided a proposal with multiple options for me to choose from. We're still working through the proposals and will likely choose from some of the options. I can review their work from there.
