Exactly what I expect my Chinese food to look and taste like. And it's a good thing!

THE GOOD
- Fried Rice Chicken/Shrimp (4/5)
- - No frills, just we'll executed and good.
- - Could use more peas/carrots imo tho
- Orange Chicken (5/5)
- - Crispy, sticky, orange...y
- Lemon Chicken (4/5)
- - expected the Lemon Chicken to be like Orange Chicken but it was still really good.
- - But..... But... It would be 5/5 if it was made like the orange chicken
- Kung Pao (4.5/5)
- - really good, it could be spicier though.
- Honey Walnut Prawns (5/5)
- - on par with any restaurant I've had. Better than Panda imo.
- Customer service was great!
- - made order through the phone
- - the nice lady at the front made sure we had enough fortunes cookies
Side note: what's the deal with fortunes cookies nowadays!?! They're not even fortunes! Hahah

THE BAD
- No dine in as noted by another reviewer.
- - not a big deal to me. But seems like they keep the chairs on top of the tables and it's not an option.

THE UGLY
- Nada

IMPORTANT NOTE:
They are genius and cut holes in the corners of the takeout to assure that the crispy chickens don't get soggy. Very smart.

Been going to this restaurant for over a decade and they always come through with delicious honey walnut prawns, bbq shrimp is fantastic they wrap it with bacon, yum! They also have great chowmein, fried rice, the almond chicken is fire, the egg foo young is also very tasty with the gravy they make, the Mongolian beef is also great .

Passed by this place on our way to Yosemite. Ordered 3 combinations and each one tasted really good! Great take-out place..

This restaurant is one of the best i've ever had. They give you large portions of food, the service is quick, and pleasant, and although it's not really a sit-down style restaurant the ambiance is still great. It smells amazing has TV's to keep you entertained, and food is cooked quick and in the spot. Immaculate!

Bamboo house is my go to when I want to pig out on Chinese food! They have the best food! Our favorites is the honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and the salt and pepper calamari. The portions are huge so you can save some for the next day!

There service is always fast! They deliver very quickly and at a great price! If you want great Chinese food order from here!

The lady at the register is rude. And the food quality is horrible. The lady gives me receipt to sign and points to the tip and says " tip here ". Says it twice. Like I don't know. Tipping is an option and it depends on service. Her service isn't tip worthy.

Finally gave this place a try and it did not disappoint. We had the almond chicken, chicken chow mein, orange chicken and a side of the hot & sour soup. Everything was hot and delicious and the man that took our order (who I presume is the owner) was super nice. Only downfall is that it's take-out only. We had to find a spot with shade to park out car and eat.

By far the best Chinese food in the area! The food is on point, the beef is nice and tender and fresh, the chow mein is delicious, the Hong Kong pan fried noodles are excellent.

Do not waste your time going to other Chinese restaurants, the food is not very flavorful I've been to over eight restaurants in Modesto and I cannot believe that this little restaurant in Salida is doing what they're supposed to do with Cantonese Chinese food!

Food is always a hit or miss for the most part I can rate that 8/10. There is a man a lady working there most of the time the man is most of the time at cash register very nice. On the other hand the lady was the worst! Came in to pick up and order and she was very rude talking to me like with no good customer service and tired to tell me to leave before giving me my whole order saying "bye that's it" and I had to read back my order even though she had the receipt in her hand! She ruined my time here , hasn't been the same since they closed down china station and put this place here!

I have been coming to this Chinese restaurant for the last 8 years and I can gladly say they have some of the most delicious garlic Chicken ever. Service is amazing as always as they always have my to go bag ready to go with everything that I need.very clean establishment. Overall 9.4/10
