I had to get a link taken off my watch and a engagement ring sized , Yuhan helped me out he was very professional and very patient told me exactly what he was doing with the watch and also with the ring . The prices were very fair and the ring came out sooo beautiful looks brand spanking new! I'm excited to pop the question Tomorrow on the 4th!!! Thank you Yuhan for everything I will spread the word about how great you treated me and how friendly your service was....

A story to share... I brought my 4 watches in for new batteries and I was asked if I wanted them cleaned. I had no idea that they cleaned them. So of course I said yes!! $10 each to clean... it's a deal!!

I had 3 more watches at home that didn't need batteries but brought those back to get them cleaned.
Simon helped me when I picked up my watches and I explained that I was headed off to NYC for the summer and needed them sooner. He was so nice and prompt!! I'd like to do a shout out to Simon and the incredible BALLANTYNE JEWELERS

I came in to buy a wedding band as I sadly lost mine. When I came in they seemed busy so I walked around patiently and looked at the inventory they had. I liked what I saw so decided to wait for someone to service me. Again they were busy so it's understandable I had to wait my turn, except that as soon as a white lady came in it didn't take them long enough to service her. I'm an Hispanic woman that walked in with sweats on so go figure. Yes it upset me that I was ignored because of my appearance and a white lady got serviced basically as soon as she walked in, typical Charlotte behavior I guess. I did end up buying a ring from them so don't judge a book by it's cover we can afford nice things too. I felt rushed too I may add. There was a awkward vibe from the sales person after I said I had been waiting to be serviced. I gave them 2 stars because the guy that rung me up was cool otherwise it's a 1 star for their etiquette.

Ballantyne Jewelers is an extremely high end and professional jeweler. Simon was friendly, honest, and knowledgeable, and they were able to make my wedding band in just two weeks! The quality of work truly is world-class. My wife and I could not be more happy! We will be coming back for all future needs. Thanks Simon and the rest of the team!

My husband took 2 of my rings in for sizing. He went back to get them on the day he was told they would be ready. When he arrived, they asked why he came when he had not been called because the rings were not ready. He explained that he was told they would be ready on this day at 11am for pickup and it was now after 4 pm. They told him it would be a few minutes so he waited.

When the rings were brought out to him, one ring was noticably shaped strange with a "point" in an extremely thin area at the back of the ring where the ring was stretched. It is not round and smooth as it had been before we took it. My husband asked them about this and he was told it was normal. It is NOT normal. We have had rings sized before.

He was also charged for both rings but only one was sized. I tried them on and only the odd shaped thinner stretched ring (with the point) fit. The other is exactly as it was before we took it. No gold was added to these rings and my husband was charged $280.

We took the rings to Ballantyne because we expected the job to be done correctly. We are disappointed in the quality and workmanship that we received.

I have contacted Ballantyne twice to see what could be done and have not received a reply.

I can't say enough good things about this family run business! I'd give six stars if I could. I have been greeted warmly every time I've walked in. My beloved grandmother had left me some gorgeous and expensive jewelry that wasn't my style Aidan and his crew refashioned it into three separate pieces I wear all the time now. I love my jewelry. Ballantine will always be my jeweler of choice.

My fiancé and I came in yesterday to Ballantyne Jewelers to get my engagement ring resized, fully expecting that I would need to return after several days or even a week to get it back. I mentioned that I was sad to be without it (it's a beauty!) and Nevin was quick to offer a fast turnaround. My ring was resized in less than 30 minutes! We felt so taken care of and special.

All of the staff have been helpful throughout the whole process, from picking out the ring to resizing! The store itself has a welcoming atmosphere and a lovely scent when you walk in.

Ballantyne Jewelers is without a doubt the best jewelry store I've ever walked into and one of the top customer service experiences I've ever had if not the best.

While technically I personally didn't purchase from them I helped my future brother in law in buying an engagement ring for my sister.

Our search started at diamonds direct, they had a band she loved there (my husband bought my ring from there so we had some ties there as well). There is too much to type about what went wrong but let me just say despite my previous history in that store I will never go back there for jewelry needs - their prices were high and the service was extremely poor on multiple occasions. I guess they don't care about taking care of their previous customers - don't waste your time there!!!

I walked into Ballantyne Jewelers and met Simon who was amazing!! I spent a good hour with him and he showed me several different options of stones - all better quality and at better prices - this is exactly what we were looking for. Simon asked me so many questions about my sister and her boyfriend and was extremely genuine. He also took me seriously where as many other jewelers looked at me as a waste of their time since my sisters BF was out of state and not present. My sisters BF called Simon later that night and when he told him who he was Simon said "oh hey Lee!" Wow, talk about personal.

Simon sent several videos to Lee of the stones - it's a very personal decision and hard to make when you're not in person but the videos were extremely clear. I came in a week later; Simon was with another customer but as soon as he was done he said "hi Katie!" I couldn't believe he remembered who I was! We FaceTimed with Lee where he made a final decision on the stone. Simon worked with Lee over the next couple of weeks to design the most beautiful band for my sister. They were also able to custom make this ring in an extremely quick turn around between thanksgiving and Christmas when they are already extremely busy.

Lee proposed to my sister yesterday and she was blown away!! The ring was more beautiful than what she originally wanted and she could not be happier!!

Simon made this such a personal and amazing experience - at no point did he ever pressure to make a decision and he has made everything so personal. I've already told my husband the next time I want some jewelry that is our store! Thank you so much Simon for everything you've done for my sister and Lee! You overdelivered in every aspect which is very hard to find anywhere these days!!

If I could give a less than 1, I'd do so. My experience at Ballantyne Jewelers was one of the worst I could have imagined. I trusted the repair service with sentimental family jewelry that I THOUGHT would be treated with best of care. I was sadly & completely mistaken - not only was the repair destructive, but I went back and forth twice to ultimately be handed garbage AND charged for the disastrous repairs. It was horrific!!
They were handed a post that simply needed to be sodded back on to the earring. They shaved the post down so badly it will no longer securely click & connect when closing. They then acted as if there was nothing wrong with this apparent disaster. That was just one....

Local and family owned. They are honest, professional, and happy to help with even minor jewelry repairs.

Simon with Ballantyne Jewelers is extremely knowledgeable and personable, to go along with his tremendous quality and service! He made the overall experience both phenomenal and seamless! I highly recommend.
