Great fish and shrimp taco truck. I never thought some of my favorite Japanese sauces would blend well on a taco but the flavors rocked!

My fish taco had avocado, cabbage, two different sauces one that was a lime green Jalapeño purée base with a little kick, and what seemed to be a ponzu sauce. (I could be wrong on that) anyway what matters is that these tacos were full of flavor, incredibly fresh and worth the visit.

Second, we had the dragon balls, and that tempura style pineapple also very delicious and fresh! I was surprised the pineapple was still crisp and tangy. All the sauces used on these tacos were unique, and would have me coming back for more.

Service was okay, didn't get much time to chat he was pretty swamped and it did take a while to get the food but it was well worth the wait.

Glad this place is in the neighborhood! Tried a bunch of different options. Loved the el guero taco- it reminded me of a jalapeño popper, inside of a taco! Also the tostada with the ahi tuna was so delicious and fresh. Loved the dragon balls- they were fried well and super crispy, the filling was rich and creamy and loved the sauces on top. Also enjoyed the coconut shrimp, and the spicy edamame were my favorite!!

This place has some really delicious tacos! We randomly ended up trying this place when we originally went to another food truck. Baja St. happened to be in the same food truck park so we figured we might as well try it. So glad we did!

      What to try:
      Dragon Balls are legit
      El Gobernador is fantastic!
El Original Tempura Taco is legit

This place has some really great tacos and personally I think Baja St. is underrated.

The idea of fusion japanese/Mexican food is really good but I don't think everybody is ready for that (specially people who said "a taco is a taco" clearly you are not ready for this kind of food) I had the chance to try a few "baja tacos" before and they're always different but the idea in this place is just right.... if you want to try something new, something different this is the place...
I was just passing thru but if I'm in the area again I'll definitely stop by to try a good el governator taco....

Delicious and inexpensive! The sauces are absolutely fantastic and are the perfect amount of spice, even for this super white girl. The tacos are larger than the tiny ones you usually get and are all super tasty. They do a great job of adding a twist to authentic tacos. The El Guero had a generous amount of cream cheese, the tempura tacos had a nice crunch, and the chips (and salsa) were fresh af, still hot from the fryer. Did i mention how awesome the sauces were? DAMN dat mango. Oh and The guys working were also super nice. A+.

Went here at 2ish and he stayed open a little later so I could order. Got the sriracha honey shrimp. He hooked it up and put a couple extra on there too. He also gave my friend and I (who didn't even order from here) some free beers. The shrimp were so good. Crispy, big and filling, and the sauce they're tossed in was bomb.

Um, yes please!! Best shrimp and fish tacos I have had in a long time! My husband is from northern Mexico and we are always looking for something reminiscent of Baja/Sayulita, and this hits the spot and then some! Shrimp Baja burrito and Watostada were sooo good, crispy, fresh and flavorful! Mexican+Japanese=delicious!

Delicious! Creative menu. We want to go back to try everything! The Tempura sweet and spicy was great. The avocado salsa was wonderful. The owner, Eduardo, is so great. Can't say enough good things.

I was not impressed with Baja St; I came for lunch and the menu looked like something Guy Fieri would put together if he were to make a Baja street taco/Japanese fusion food truck. The tuna tostada and Gobernator taco were drowning in sauces. The service was also very long. I won't be coming back.
