The sandwiches are excellent, the vegetarian options included. The prices are ridiculously cheap. You can get a pretty good-sized sandwich for less than 5 dollars, and a boba smoothie for about the same price. They also have really good beignets, a fairly wide selection of drinks (including a lot of Asian ones that may or may not appeal to the average Western palate - some are really good; others, I don't like as much - your mileage may vary). Service is generally fast, unless they're getting slammed, and the place is generally kept pretty clean. Also, due to the fact that the place is in a Fred Meyer strip mall, there is usually ample parking.
Minor nitpicks: if there's cilantro on something, there is a whole lot of cilantro on it. Personally, I love the stuff, and it's occasionally even a bit much for my tastes.
Regardless, it's good food at the right price, and it's something there's not already too much of in Boise. I would recommend this place highly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 17685Apr 24, 2024
The service here in phenomenal, the ladies that helped me today were so sweet and quick to make my order. I got the pesto turkey with no mayo and it was so filling I could only eat half of it at a time! Ingredients tasted fresh and my sandwich was made with care. I will be back to try more of their menu! Not much of a place to sit down and eat but there are plenty of beautiful places to go and sit to eat your sandwich near by, like a park.

This is a completely respectable bahn mi in an unsaturated market of bahn mis in Boise. I unfortunately showed up with an American Express card which was not accepted by the store but they were willing to give me a small discount since I didn't have another card.
I got an egg bahn mi and a grilled beef bahn mi. I will agree with other reviewers which state they skimp on beef. You will not get full on beef alone and will likely be a little bit annoyed. The egg bahn mi was respectfully filled and delicious.
They are kind and make good food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Nicole P.Boise, ID0138Apr 5, 2024Updated review
I'm very saddened to make this review. Baguette Deli is a place I recommend to everyone I knew for having the cheapest, most delicious Pho in Boise. However the prices have jumped from 10 to 13 and now 16.99 in 2 years. with no change to portions or taste. More expensive than competitors. I unfortunately will no longer be buying from here. Service is so so with the usual language barrier (the best places have them).

The place is nice and small with no dining in but thats no issue for us. The bubble tea is so good and well priced it will sell out, my Taiwanese husband loves the bubble tea. I always recommend this place.

My favorite Vietnamese sandwich shop.
Usually get the No.9 on the menu if you like scramble eggs in your sandwich, makes a perfect brunch meal. Oh don't forget to order the Vietnamese coffee to go with the sandwich. Perfect weekend brunchHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - velma v.Seattle, WA2733433Feb 9, 2024
Fast service with excellent eggrolls and bahn mi. We will definitely be stopping in again. Our order was for the bbq pork.

Baguette Deli is located in the same plaza as Fred Meyer, specifically next door to Great Clips, with plenty of parking.
My husband found this place on Yelp and so we came here on a Sunday around 6:30 pm. After looking over the menu board, we ended up getting:
Vermicelli, $7.95 prior to tax- This noodle entrée is good for two and was tasty. The meat was also good and tender.
#1 House Special, $4.95 prior to tax- My husband opted for this sandwich. The lunch meat is good but on the skimpy side. The baguette bread used was good and had a nice chew.
-----------------
(Total= $13.14 after tax)
When we came in, I wanted to order spring rolls but they were already sold out. Same with a milk tea that I had asked to purchase. I was surprised that a handful of items I had asked for were already sold out ~ 90 minutes before closing time. But I guess at least they still had the ingredients to make banh mi sandwiches.
Well I've had better, but maybe that's because I'm from Los Angeles where there are a lot of places that make really good Vietnamese food. Overall, this place is okay, thus my 3 star rating.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Jan 6, 2023
The service was great fast and pleasant. I got the pork sandwich. It had the great amount of meat to veggies. The bread is amazing. Hard crunch on the outside with a soft inside. I also got the egg rolls with sauce. It was delicious crunchy with a ton of meat inside. It was more like lumpia. The dipping sauce was different than I've ever tried. Loved the flavor it was even good on the sandwich. So glad I finally tried this place. Can't believe I waited years to try it. Definitely going to return.

We have loved eating here for several years! The Pho and Banh Mi sandwiches are amazing! We even order the baguette bread to go on occasion that they have enough. however.... The reason for only 4 stars is the place has went down hill tremendously!!! I am not sure what has happened but they no longer have sit down eating, they have supplies and all kind of random crap just piled up places that customers really should not be able to see, the place looks very run down now as well and needs some updating...

It's a small place in the same building as Fred Meyers. First time in. My husband likes there Pho I didn't order that. I had a sandwich and I like the bread it was good but the sandwich wasn't my favorite. It needed more meat more of something. The smoothies where good. My kids liked the smoothies.
