First of all, they let way too many people in this bar at once. It was WAY too overcrowded. It literally would take 15-20 minutes to wedge your way up to the bar and try and order a drink. Walking from your table to the bathroom or to the dance floor took time as well because the crowd was SO large. I wasn't too impressed by the drink prices either. The live music WAS good, but the rest of the experience was ruined by the poor layout of the bar and the fact that they let way too many people in. They need a back bar or more wait staff that can make their own drinks and NOT rely on 2 bartenders all night.

Asked the dj to play anything Zach Bryan. He just hit his vape and played Jason Alden

Came here looking to dance and have some fun, I did that. Someone in my party had a drink that made her so sick, we aren't sure if it was spiked or what but she went to the bathroom and was puking. I went to the bar asked for water. Took 15 min but we got it. Went in the bathroom to check on her and there was a bartender cussing her out. "You need to leave, you are taking up a stall in the bathroom!" I stepped in and was explaining to her that something happened with the drink she had we are working on getting her up and out of here just as fast as you want us out. She pushed me trying to get to my friend in the bathroom. Like WTF!! I went in the stall with my friend, shut it and told her to get out and we will leave, I don't need you being aggressive with this already being a stressful situation.
Then she started screaming at me GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY BAR! YOU CANT COME BACK! She was slamming on the stall....
All around completely rude especially with the fact we were there for 1 hour and we each had one drink because of how unfair the bartending is.
As we were leaving she was storming behind as cussing us out still....
I will go for the dancing but don't bother with their spiked watered down bullshit of a drink. And rude ass bartenders.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. The bouncer checked my friends ID and said"oh is that you? The picture is way prettier." Literally no reason for this we just came to have a good time. Left immediately after. Hire better bouncers who actually do their job instead of insulting customers for no reason. Never coming back. Band is terrible anyway.

A group of friends and I (all in our 40's) recently visited to help celebrate my friends daughters 21st birthday. We arrived around 8:30pm on a Friday night and got a nice long table and drinks right away. They had a great DJ and a nice dance floor and I loved their playlist. I had no idea what to expect when the young crowd started to come in around 9:30. I have to say I was very impressed! The crowd was 20ish and all very respectful and just having fun and dancing. The music got even better as everyone sang along. Only downfall was that there is not table service for drinks, you have to go up to the bar and that was quite crowded. There were 3 bartenders hustling like I've never seen and kept things moving. Being in my late forties, I don't see myself going back at night but I had a great experience. I would have no problems if my kids wanted to go here and have some fun at night!

I would have given this place a zero star if that was an option. The reason for the poor rating is due to the bartender. This guy was absolutely horrible, rude and a complete moron. He has no idea how to make a mixed drink at all. Don't be fooled by the cheap price of the mixed drinks as they are watered down by the crappy bartender. You can't miss him with his dirty cloths and nasty white baseball cap he was wearing.

Tip to management he also pockets some of the money and never rings it up. This would be the guy who worked on 9/18/2021.

Do not visit this place!

Instead goto Grand Rapids Brewing Company, much nicer, cleaner, great drinks and more importantly friendly staff! The bartenders are amazing and friendly.

I wish I could level 0 stars the bar tender told me me that my tip wasn't big enough and that no one would serve me again if that is the case I will never spend $300 dollars at the back 40 again if I don't get a response for owner I will never be attending again as well as my friends, if the service was good maybe I'd tip bigger. My server was a guy with a light up necklace and I want him removed for staff. No sever should ask for more tip period!!!!! That is absolutely Embarrassing and if he wants more money he should not be a bar teams at 45.

Bouncer checked my REAL ID from Indiana and thought it was fake immediately. Didn't ask any questions about it and even took it to the black light and told me he knew the watermarks were off. I asked to take it to the manager and she laughed and said to give my ID back but not let us in. Just a real piece of work this place is. Would never recommend this place. Should be 0 stars.

Worst customer service ever! Don't waste your money in this place! There is so many other fun bars where people are actually nice to you where you can go and have an enjoyable experience. Someone needs to clean house with the employees there.

The DJ was really fun and took song requests and shout outs! When the bar was slow the bartenders were very nice and helpful. However when the bar was full it was clear they were understaffed. The bartenders had attitudes with customers. As we were trying to cash out their system went down and they refused to cash us out. The bartender had our IDs and our credit cards. She told us she couldn't cash us out manually - like she was doing for everyone else- because she couldn't trust us to tell her what we ordered. (Altogether 3 vodka Red Bulls) my friend had already been waiting a half hour in line to even be acknowledged, so we were pretty frustrated. The bartender told us to leave and my friend told her we can't because you have our IDs and cards. The bartender did not like how my friend spoke to her and freaked out, cussing at her, telling her to just leave and refusing to cash out. I spoke to a manager as this bartender clearly needed help behind the bar. The manager just told me we needed to be patient and did not care about his bartender. After about 20 more minutes and another outburst from the bartender telling us to leave she finally cashed us out based on us telling her what we ordered.

Overall this was a messed up experience for everyone involved. The bartender was very unprofessional and overwhelmed, the manager was dismissive and disrespectful, and our evening was ruined over 3 vodka Red Bulls.

Hmmm. If only the alcoholic beverages contained alcohol. When not even a Long Island can get you a good buzz going, you know it's time to head to STELLA'S. Don't go here, unless you want abusive bouncers who take advantage of customers and starts fights. Saw a head get bashed in the other weekend but that's another story. In conclusion, go anywhere else. Thanks.
