Dr. Fox is very nice, and very experienced. After seeing him for a few times, my neck/shoulder and lower back pains have subsided quite a bit. Highly recommended.

I should have read these reviews before I made my appointment, on the basis of my husband's recommendation that they were 'OK'. My new patient visit was scheduled for 9:30. I arrived early and filled out the many pages of info they asked for. During the half hour I sat in the waiting room two patients left and two more arrived. At 10, which I asked why my 9:30 time had come and gone I was told that one of the practitioners was 'out today.'
I have a lot of experience with chiropractic and know that the first visit takes a ton of time and you have to sit through a lot of upselling early on. I was expecting that the appt would take over an hour because of that, but I didn't expect that it would be squeezed in between other people's appointments as well.
They know that a first appointment takes a lot of time. Why not call me to reschedule when they knew they were one person down? My time is as valuable as theirs. I didn't want to start a relationship with these people if they don't see basic courtesy as a requirement. It really messed up my day!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 12, 2017Updated review
Dr. Pitcher really knows his stuff with chiropracty. I was always impressed that the treatments weren't necessarily the same things that have been done. There are new techniques in manipulation he is aware of and puts in practice.
He is also very candid about your care, which is something I really appreciate. He seems to genuinely care. That goes a long way. He won't always agree with other methods, so if you have a serious condition that his treatment doesn't seem to help over time, don't be afraid to try something else. Personally, I think chiropractic care can work wonders for a lot of different issues, and I've had a great deal of relief from it. I also think there are rare occasions that come up where chiropractic care can help, but not serve as the end solution. Unfortunately, I think I have this sort of condition.
The staff there continues to be wonderful and is willing to listen as well as offer their thoughts. It really makes going there a delight.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Apr 7, 2017Previous reviewI have to start by saying this is one business that can be better evaluated if you look at the reviews rejected by Yelp. Most of them are 5 star ratings, and deservedly so. Please be aware their Yelp coupon expired ages ago, and they aren't currently up on their Yelp account.
I went here about 20 years ago when I had some problem in my lower back. After a month or two of treatments, I felt well enough to stop going.
Fast forward to 2017. Dr. Pitcher and Dr. Gray are at the helm, and this place is every bit as good as it was before, even if it isn't quite as big.
I have been dealing with back pain and fatigue for about a year. After several months of trying the pills my doctor prescribed, I finally requested the next step, which was physical therapy via IU Health. While the visits weren't bad, and they seemed to help somewhat, they didn't solve the problem.
I finally decided to visit Dr. Pitcher. He took X-rays (Something the other doctors never did) and went over the picture with me after my initial consultation. He put me on an aggressive schedule of treatments, and the difference is amazing. It took a while for things to really get realigned properly, but some time on the traction machine is working wonders for my lower lumbar. I have a compressed disk that was leading to fatigue and sciatica. The adjustments help straighten out my spine, and the machine helps take some of the pressure off.
Everything is done in one room, so there may be days when you have to wait a few minutes for someone to finish an adjustment or get their e-stem.
I'm glad I went back there. I definitely plan on going for regular visits. They are affordable and friendly, and Dr. Pitcher really knows his stuff. - Nika J.Bloomington, IN061Jul 8, 2019

Worst chiropractic experience of my life. $800 later I went to another chiropractor who actually fixed the problem in one visit. I had to come in several times a week and sign a contract upon my first visit that I would come however many times the doctor told me to. They refused to pop my back in the first visit and made me get x rays instead. I am a young healthy person in my 20's and felt this was excessive. They were very aggressive in scheduling visits and I felt that I could not get out of them. The room was super uncomfortable, as you are adjusted in front of all of the patients in that day. They would move my clothing around to put electrodes on my very low back, but everyone else could see! It was very uncomfortable.

Upon making my first appointment I used a promotion they had going on entailing a free consultation. I was excited to get the neck pain I have had for years taken care of. When I arrived for my appointment I told the front desk that I was not going to be using my insurance for this visit because I have a very large co pay and would rather pay out of pocket. Upon hearing this they insisted I use my insurance and pressured me into giving them my card. I did so and this caused a huge hiccup at the end of the appointment. After the free consultation (which I got charged for) the doctor insisted I get x Rays. I told him I did not have the money for x Rays. Reluctantly he decided to move me on with treatment. He did not adjust me or anything!!! He hooked me up to the electric machine thing that did NOTHING for my back/neck. They finally were going to let me leave and here is where it gets confusing. They were still trying to go off my insurance and finally when it seemed I got it across I wasn't using insurance they didn't even know what to charge me. So they decided they would go to the chiro and see how much he said to charge. Finally after 10 minutes they figured out how much to charge me. 65$ for my visit WITH THE DISCOUNT. I left feeling broke and used. They did not fix anything on my entire body. So I thought everything was fine and over with when I get a bill in the mail from my insurance company showing they covered some of the visit. So already I am upset because I told them I DID NOT want to use insurance literally 6-7 times. So I give the chiropractor a call to see what is up since I got the bill from my insurance. They decided to tell me I owe them more money!! This was 3 months ago that I went and they are now telling me I am going to be getting another bill in the mail from them I will have to pay. This is terrible!

It just takes one look at his website to see what a money-hungry mogrel this doctor is. My experience began when my back went out and I had a coupon so I went to him. It said free consultation but it was not so free when he took a bunch of x-rays and a bunch of other stuff. When my insurance would not cover it, he decided to put me on a "wellness plan" coming in twice a week. Basically this consisted of making it feel well enough that I thought it was working but not good enough to cure me. I had to cease treatment for summer break in which my back got so bad it went out when I bent down to pet a cat. Upon going to a chiropractor in pittsboro, I realized how bad Dr. Fox really was!! Dr. Starnes saw me a handful of times in which he completely got rid of my pain. I have not been back to a chiropractor since and I am now pain free. If you want a biweekly experience that only kind-of helps and you wanna dish out a bunch of money for the rest of your life, than this is the place for you! If you wanna get rid of your back pain and meet a really great chiropractor who actually cares, I sugget you look up Dr. Starnes and make the 60 minute drive to pittsboro a handful of times and be done with chiropractors forever!!!
