Manager Josh.
Josh, he is a disgusting human being I've ever met in my life. He is dishonest and irresponsible guy for where he work and I can't understand why Avis still let him work for location.
He doesn't know about each car condition and it seems he never checked or never let other employees do their work properly.
I hope he will be sorry all lies what he told me in his life. He knows it's a lie.
I hope he will be a honest man.
I hope he will be a man with good heart even if business is involved.
I believe he's a breadwinner of kids and he's a dad in the family but lie to customer is not right.
Simply stupid man and stupid employees.
Go to Long Beach.
I heard Avis quality depends on location.
James, a guy is an only guy who seems nice but stay away from Avis.
Enterprise is most high quality car rental company.
I even don't want to see a sign of Avis because it's disgusting.
Poor maintenance. Not suitable guy for manager.
No oil change. Tire with low pressure and air out. I had to replace on my own time but they don't feel sorry for customer to take the time to fix.
I really don't understand that he can give a direction what to fix what to check with a guy but why he is not doing his job and making excuses and lies to customer?
It's too bad. It's too miserable. It's too awful.
Rebecca, a lady also tells a lie and irresponsible person. Hey, if you lose your money unnecessarily due to someone's lie and rip-off, you will understand how it feels.

worst experience ever!!!! If your an uber driver don't recommend this place. The vehicles they have are in bad condition.

Well where to start, the day we went to pick up our car at 8:00 am when they opened and already had reservations for a full size sedan and it would cost us $108. The representative Josh, told us he didn't have a car for us and was waiting on 3 people to drop off and another representative was driving a car over for us. She finally showed up at 8:30am in a Toyota IA (very compact car) and he said it should be cheaper because it wasn't a full size sedan. Then he charged our card $122 and said "oh no" that's wrong and fixed it. He finally said it will be $86 and the $122 should be refunded in 2-6 business days. We left.
We returned at 5pm two days later when they close at 6pm. The representative Josh, was missing. We waited awhile. Another lady came in and could tell we were frustrated, so she made a phone call once she heard how long we were waiting. The guy on the phone said, "he was on his way back," which was very vague. At this point it was 5:50 and still no show. Finally at 5:57 pm he showed up and I let him know I had been waiting an hour and he didn't even give me a simple sorry. I asked for his managers number and he seemed so careless that I was frustrated. I definitely don't recommend this Avis/budget at all!!! Oh and too add to all this. I've never had a customer experience as bad as the one I'm in the middle of right now. To make a long story short, I rented a car and a rock broke the windshield. Avis withheld over $2000(!) on my credit card and charged me $250 for the broken windshield and then credited only $800 back(??) leaving me to fight for the remainder. I have been struggling with them for weeks now to get my money back and they've given me nothing but the run around.

This place is located the Sear's auto center in the Del Amo Fashion center complex. This is the 2nd time I've rented from here. I think the service you get really depends on who is helping you. We rent from here because it's close to my friend's house.
Tips:
1. Always check your gas level with Avis person before leaving. My recent gas level was just above half tank.
2. Always inspect the car inside and out with Avis person before leaving. I checked outside and assumed inside was clean (sky was dark already). In daylight, I noticed that there were empty snack wrappers in the driver's seat area AND there was alot of water in the middle console compartment.
Be considerate to the next renter and please return car clean and with full tank.
Friendly staff. James was working when we picked up car. James and Manager Jose(?) was working when we returned the car. Both were very helpful and friendly.
Note that they have a VERY LIMITED quantity of rentals but we had a car on reserve so it wasn't a problem for us.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! This location is highly unethical and adds on insurance and upgrades without your permission.
When I called this to the manager's attention he denied and was defensive.

I came in on a Sunday before a Holiday due to my car check engine light came on. I always decline the extra insurance because my insurance carrier covers me in a rental, even my credit card will cover me in a rental, however I was still charged extra insurance. The man behind the counter told me to initial all the areas and didn't give me my rental agreement. When I brought the vehicle back, I still didn't get a receipt. I was told that he will email it to me, which I never received. It wasn't until I checked my bank statement that I was charged more than what was quoted. I even had to call customer service to get a copy of the rental agreement and receipt. When I told customer service what happen I was told that I can get a "credit" for future rentals.

This is a horrible f*cking place to rent a car. Customer service is slow AF. There's only one person working and it's a long weekend. If you have 3 hours just to pick up or drop you're vehicle then you came in a right place! zp

Horrible experience and unethical representative JOSH SENIOR. I rented a car and when I was supposed to return it back he overcharged my credit card around $1200 extra. He is so rude, and unprofessional guy. I highly recommending that you should stay away from this place.
