      I'm a fan of this AutoZone. They have a small parking lot in front, but I didn't have any issues finding a spot. The way the streets are situated, the entrance and exit is on Hillhurst.

      I know nothing about cars. My back left blinker was out so David helped me out. He replaced the bulb for me and I was in and out of the store in under ten minutes. He was super nice and professional. The bulb to replace my broken blinker was under $10 and it came in a set of two. I will definitely be coming back.

      This store is pretty clean and the staff helpful. OH, when those bad days of really having to fix the car come, I feel pretty good coming to get parts here. Oh yes, the joy of wax-on-wax-off has a decent selection here too.

      Parking can be a trick. Street parking on Hollywood is OK, and the parking lot might have a spot or two. But getting out of that lot can be a chore. No worry, it is worth it.

      I took my Honda Civic for a battery problem. I recently got the battery from them with a 2 year warranty to last yet. I was doubting the alternator but they had it tested and didn't find any issues. I was told the battery was perfectly fine but I still face problems because sometimes my car won't just start. Some of the staff people are willing to help but I feel like they don't exactly figure out what might be the problem.
      Another point is they are not professional mechanics, so u can't completely blame them. 3 stars.

      My car's right rear brake light was out so I decided to stop by our local Auto Zone. The employee was very helpful - he found the bulbs in a 2-pack and offered to take a look at both brake lights as a courtesy. It turns out, the left light also looked slightly burned so since I had a 2-pack anyway, he installed both brake lights for me in less than five minutes. The entire cost came out to less than ten bucks!

      I highly recommend this Auto Zone and will continue being a customer because of their excellent customer service and reasonable prices.

      I'm usually suspicious of chain stores, let alone, chain auto stores. I usually stick to my trusty personal mechanic. However, I have to say that every time I've come to this Auto Zone, located at the junction of Hollywood and Sunset,I've been mighty impressed with their service! And though I am female, they don't treat me as though I'm some kind of idiot who has no clue about cars. Instead, they are patient, chill, and great listeners and happy to help with my questions and concerns. Never have I felt intimidated at AutoZone. And, BTW, I know a FEW things about cars. I'm not some kind of helpless damsel in distress (only when I want to be! ;))

      It was just a couple of weeks ago that I went back to return some windshield wipers because I wasn't happy with the product. Christopher, who was helping me on this occasion, asked me more about why I didn't like the product. I told him that the blades were too flimsy, and that I wanted my money back, and I was going to stick with the mega expensive Subaru dealership blades instead.

      Christopher listened and asked if I would be interested in some other wipers for my windows. He walked me over to the aisle with the wipers, telling me of the variety of wipers with their features and all. Then he said that if I was concerned about the flimsiness of the wipers I already had, he said that AutoZone could exchange my wipers for the premium ones that are pretty sturdy as an EVEN exchange! Really? Sure! Plus, he said that he would put them on for me! I told him that would be great! He said that at AutoZone, they are concerned about providing excellent customer service. I told him that I would have put them on myself, but that day happened to be a scorcher. What sacrifice!
      I got new windshield wipers installed at no additional cost to me that day. And it was a good thing because the next day, it started to rain!

      I have mistakenly stopped here for some oil; that was a mistake! The workers here are not happy at all. Once I stood inline for 15 minutes patiently and witnessed a worker say out loud to customers that the other workers were lazy here and they can't be fired because of they will sue. Then that worker walked out the door with a full line of customers.

      I have been to this store location several times and always find the crew to be extremely helpful and honest. I have never felt like they try to up-sell me or take advantage.

      They are always kind and willing to help out. Autozone is great because you can walk in with little part knowledge, and as long as you know your vehicle make and year, they will assist you in finding the part.

      Some people also do not know that they can do a diagnosis on your engine when your check engine light comes on so that you can find and fix the problem versus possibly being lied to at a mechanic!

      AutoZone #5412 I was treated so cheerfully and respectfully here that I had to write a review for Rene (and his coworker) for their service. I'm not a car person so navigating car issues is a huge nervous headache, but these guys were SO honest and helped me out. Integrity! We need more guys like these!

      Jose A is a rock star! I came in because my car kept on needing to be jumped and the car dealership was charging both my legs for a battery replacement.

      1st, Jose treated me with absolute respect, which, being a young chick walking into an auto store, is wonderful. I immediately butch up expecting condescension from auto guys. He was great.

      2nd, he put the battery in my car for me and taught me how for the future. I didn't have tools with me and it had been a looooong time since I had changed a battery in a car. He explained everything and patiently answered my questions.

      So, helping me out AND teaching me a lifelong skill? Yup, 5 stars. Thank you!

      P.S. I really wanted to tip him but apparently it's against store policy. SOMEONE GIVE HIM SOMETHING NICE... pretty please.

      Avoid buying Valucraft Car batteries here. Paid $115 for economy battery, gave out after 15 months. This battery comes with one-year free replacement with no other guarantee after the one year. For $99 Walmart offers a THREE-YEAR free replacement with two additional years of prorated use. Good store, bad batteries.
