Smith Van and Storage just completed our move to Florida May 19, 2022 from Merced Ca. We can not say enough about how they packed everything up, protected everything. Randy helped in so many ways from storing all our house hold goods until our house was built. Randy under stood we had a hard time with our builder with a completion date and stored everything. When the delivery team arrived they put cardboard down to protect the driveway, they put floor padding down inside the house to protect the flooring . This was a professional job by all from pickup in Merced Ca. to Our new house in Florida. Randy THANK YOU for a job well done and keeping my wife happy!!! If you need anything just let me know. For anyone one else that maybe shopping around; those other companies couldn't care, and if they are asking for money up front you are being taken advantage of!!!! We used this company to move part of our belonging from Merced to Phoenix, Arizona. We have moved from state to state several times over the past few years and this was by far the best moving experience we have had. Randy and his crew showed up on time, and were friendly and professional. I really appreciated the way that they carefully moved our belongings when loading and unloading the truck. All of our items arrived safe and sound, without any damage. We will definitely call Randy Hagerman the next time we need to move.

I was very pleased with my experience moving our furniture out of my mother-in-law's home right before escrow closed. I chose to work with Randy Hagerman at Smith Van and Storage because of a past experience moving me before and because of what he could offer for my needs. I needed a company that could not only move the furniture but also store it for me until I could sell some of the pieces or distribute to our two daughters at a later date. He provided everything that I needed and the move went great. My monthly storage fee was quite reasonable and he provides access,for a small fee, if I want to disperse any of the furniture at any time.

I used them moving to Merced from Atwater which cost more, and took longer than another company took moving me to Atwater 9 mos earlier, with the same stuff, for a much greater distance, for less money. They left garage door opened and house unlocked at old place. They also forgot to move a TV set, 2 lamps, a pagoda, and a large planter! I had to just leave the planter behind because it was too heavy for me to move by myself. I will say they are nice, friendly people.

Their prices are the best I could find, but it doesn't matter because nobody ever calls you back to schedule a time to have them move you. They came out to do a price quote for the move and told me they would get back to me with the paper quote and to schedule the appointment to have them come move...but nobody ever called. I waited almost 2 weeks to hear back from them and then i decided to call them, but no one answered so i left a message asking them to call me back. Here is it 4 days later and 3 days until i am moving and still no phone call. So i would not recommend them to anyone.
