Billy from modern air was very responsive to our needs. The service fee of $110 is good for six months. We did need to call him back twice for further diagnosis and paid only for two parts that were needed.

Billy explained clearly what the problem was and how to fix it. He put our old furnace back in good condition!

Called them on Wednesday they came out Thursday morning and fixed bad door switch. Billy was fantastic and gave me suggestions and pricing for new furnace ac and heat pump for when the time comes. He was very knowledgeable and professional and gave me advice on how to power in outage if needed. I honestly could not be more pleased. Morgan Hill business too- just awesome!

Decided it was finally time to do some cleaning / maintenance of my HVAC after not touching it in over 6 years. Modern Air was great. Frequent communication via Yelp and then text. Billy arrived on time and was very nice, professional and knowledgable. Great experience overall, would deifnitely contact Modern Air again.

Also appreciated that Billy pointed out some risks / improvements that could be made with my current setup, but wasn't pushy. Just explained in easy-to-understand detail so that I could make an informed choice.

Modern Air installed a whole house ductless heating A/C system for me. They were always on time, polite, professional and kept me informed on progress.

Although the job had some unforseen complexity they finished with high quality.

They never charge up front, only when completed.

I highly recommend them as a company, and the team that installed my system, Steve and Khatami, with some help from Billy and Seth, all great guys.

I am blown away by the service Modern Air provided me. My super old HVAC finally quit and I was referred to them by my neighbor. They were able to come out the same day I called, provided a quote that fit within my budget and they did the install the very next day. From the receptionist, to Billy who came out and did the estimate, to Steven and his assistant who did the install I was amazed by their punctuality and professionalism. Top notch quality work. I called because my heating system wasn't turning on. Modern Air was able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. Billy came out and looked at the the system. At first, he noticed that our filter didn't cover the entire vent. Then he took the cover off the thermostat. I knew right away what was wrong as I surmised that the batteries needed to be replaced. Billy checked the batteries and determined they were the issue. He replaced the batteries and the filter. We checked the heater and A/C and everything was good to go. Billy was happy to take a check.

This is an update for a 3 star review I gave earlier. Actually, I wrote a letter to them requesting more information, and it got sent to reviews. The problem was that apparently huge amounts of sediment began building up in the flue shared by the furnace and the water heater, and leaked back into the furnace, causing it to fail. It had worked before for forty years, but didn't with the new Trans furnace, and it was totally unexpected.
I was told it was very rare and a surprise to them, too. Apparently it was one of those one-ion-a-thousand things. Eventually my choices came down to separating the flues--$2500--or new HE furnace for $4000. Long story short, I opted for the latter.
Though I think they should have seen the problem coming, having installed thousands of these things, but they were so quick to respond, careful to show and make their case, and so efficient and polite that I would still use them again.

Billy was very detailed and explained all the things he had to do. He checked air flow and cool performance. Checked refrigerant and charged freon and fixed leak. Thought I had to pay a lot since he has done a lot. I could be happier. My new go to guy for my HVAC.

These guys are awesome! I've used Modern Air for the past several years and I couldn't be happier. They are professional, always on time, and very reasonable with their pricing. They have even been out to check the system WITHOUT charging me a cent. What other company does that?

They will tell you exactly what's happening with your system and what needs to be done to correct it. They will advise you on what steps to take throughout the year to guarantee that your system runs at peak performance. I will only call Modern Air in the future because I know Andrew will answer the phone and I will only get what I need done on my system.

Modern Air did an outstanding job with repairing my Pvc flute. The two technicians were friendly and professional. They took great care with protecting my flooring to an from the attic opening. They took before and after photos to show me what work was conducted. I appreciate the customer service and great attention to detail with resolving my issue. I would highly recommend Modern Air for all of your AC needs.
