Basic but good. I had no idea that this place existed, and I've been on and off base for trainings over the past few years. It doesn't look like anything on the outside, but they've got a beautiful full bar and booth seating. I can't say no to fried pickles and was thrilled to start there. I was doing some work and there weren't many customers in the midday slump, and the staff were great, refilling my diet coke as soon as it was low. I was really in the mood for a grilled cheese, which is not on the menu, but I asked anyways and they were only too willing to deliver.
If I'm on base, I'd go back. Pretty good and so close.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marcos S.Pleasant Grove, Dallas, TX051Nov 16, 2022
A true hidden gem, with some of the best food I've ever eaten (no exaggeration) service is excellent, the atmosphere is comforting, and the GAP Fries are to die for! Don't sleep on this place gents!!

This place a group of us went to. The bar and grill is really nice. This is a big military bar, being so close to the base out that way. I got some wings, sweet potato fries, and a bowl of chili. The food was excellent. My only gripe for this place is the bartender had to help the kitchen cook, and was unavailable for drink refills when we were finished with a glass. She said she had to help motivate him. I would go back.

My wife and I go here quite a bit. We're never disappointed. Their menu items are priced reasonable. Their beer selection is good and it's always served ICE cold. The bartenders are extremely friendly. If Holly is there be sure to give her a hard time, she'll give it right back! Jeanie and Holly are both awesome.

Fellow Yelp reviewers never let me down and now I have to give this place 5 stars myself! My husband and 9yr old were starving after a long and fun day at Hershey Park and we wanted to eat! Eat we did! This is a bar atmosphere by an air base with a lot of their patrons being military but there were booths available and the waitress was attentive and so nice. We ordered the Appetizer fries which were huge jojo potatoes with cheese and bacon, delicious. Also got the butter and garlic wings which my daughter devoured and I got the Gyro with the warm pita bread and tzatziki sauce. My husband got a burger with their special sauce and he loved it. Then the cook or manager gave my daughter and I complimentary ice cream cups. The food was all great and the prices were amazing. It's easy to miss off the road but don't pass it up if you're ever nearby.

The bar menu is limited but executed to a perfectly OK standard. The fried pickles were good as were the mozzarella sticks. A hoagie chicken sandwich was perfectly OK. Atmosphere is relaxed if you are a PA guardsman at Fort Indiantown Gap for training. Beers are relatively cheap. Not sure you want to drive out of your way to come here as a walk-in. Some sandwiches are great (Reuben!) but it's not a perfect operation. Lunchtime service is super slow for no good reason - evenings work better.

After reading the reviews I felt it this trip would be a win-win situation. However it didn't start that way. I walked in and felt like a deer caught in headlights. 8 people pivoted and look at me in an ice cold stare. Well, I guess that happens to the best of us. However that all had white badges on their shirt. I I must say I felt a tad bit befuddled, baffled and bewildered. I can't read them and every time I try to get up Minnesota Fats is behind me with his damn pool stick. Oh well, $2 drafts will get through the terrain as it is now time to conquer the next battlefield

Great place to go to watch the game or a race while enjoying a cold beer and good food. Our waitress Jean was awesome; very attentive and personable. This place is on a military base but is definitely open to the public. Check it out next time you are in the area or if you are a local you should definitely give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Not bad, cheesesteak is better than Moses's up the road. Salads are not green, but plentiful. Has a pool table And is pretty quiet for the most part
