Arbor Place

This building has a 24-hour concierge service, well equipped gym, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub/jacuzzi, business center, a party hall with a kitchen and patio, and 4 roof top decks with outdoor grills, one of which can be reserved as well. The recreation room on the second floor has a bunch of books, board games, a TV and a piano, where you can hang out and spend time during the day and reserve it for private events, if needed. The roof top decks offer a beautiful view of downtown Seattle, lake union and the waterfront.

Security isn't an issue, with the 24-hour concierge at the front desk. They are all very friendly and helpful and there are frequent meetings with the management company and the board members where residents can share ideas or raise concerns and they have been really good at addressing the same.

The Belltown Beauty is a beautiful little condo with great views, the place is well maintained and spacious enough for a family to stay in while exploring the waterfront. The location is so convenient we never had to take our car out of the garage, everything was in walking distance. The views from the top terrace rival that of the space needle what a great place for a bbq and we made great use of the space. There is a pool sauna, and hottub on the second floor with a really nice gym. Makes for a great stay. If your lucky enough to know someone in the building or can snag a air B&B do so this building is worth it!

I'm writing this as a person who is renting someone else's condo, so I won't really any insight to HOA dues or other owner's things like that. Anyway, the building is on Vine St., between 1st and 2nd ave. It's in that sweet spot in Belltown where you're near enough bars and that you get to hang out and have fun when you want to, but far enough that you don't hear drunkards screaming endlessly once 2am hits on the weekends. The area is super walkable, and you're close to plenty of bus stops, one main one being on 3rd and Cedar (2 blocks away). Busses to Queen Anne, Ballard, Wallingford and Northgate stop there. And of course the ones going downtown.

The building itself is quite nice. First of all, 24 hours concierge. I sometimes come home late and it's nice to be able to pick up your package whenever. And it's super easy to have people drop off things for you, too, they can just leave it at the front desk. There's a lounge that you can reserve for private functions, the downside is that they close those off at 11.45pm and cap the guest list at 25 people so no late night parties allowed (sad, the space is nice to just hang out late at night). They have a semi-fully equipped gym, the machines are older but still quite good, and the two TVs available more than makes up for it. There is an indoor swimming pool available, no deep ends and it's quite short but again, gets the job done. There are BBQ grills on the rooftop for those summer days, and the view there for 4th of July is great.

I live on the 17th floor, so noise, other than the fire trucks, isn't really an issue, but the walls are thick enough that I don't hear my neighbors too much unless they're banging on the wall. People in the building are nice, most of them have dogs so it's very pet friendly. I've only had one tenant be an ass to me and I don't even see him anymore, everyone else is pretty friendly.

It's been pretty good living here so far. I might gripe about how small my kitchen is and my lack of storage space, but this is one of the nicer buildings I've lived in and there's not a lot things wrong with it. I definitely would recommend it to people.
