      Worst service at any restaurant I have ever been to - server and manager Arabella were down right rude. It makes me sad to write this review. I have been going to Apres Diem for years but after my experience yesterday I will never go again. I was with a group of friends having a holiday brunch. Most of us have been to Apres Diem many times before and were familiar with the menu. As we ordered the server said several times that side items (grits and home fries)were not on the menu. When she was politely asked when they were taken off the menu she stated very rudely that she did not know because this was only her second time working the brunch schedule. When I saw grits being served at a table next to us and pointed it out she said well I guess we could have the side items with an extremely rude tone. Nobody at the table said anything - in fact we said she must be having a bad day and were very understanding. The major problem was when we went to pay the server said we could not split our checks. We politely asked when that policy went into effect because we had come as a group many times and never had an issue splitting the check she rolled her eyes and said she would ask her manager. While we were waiting we had worked out that one of us would pay and the rest of us would Venmo that person. Problem solved we were happy and ready to go and chalked it up to one server having a bad day. Then the manager Arabella showed up and was without a doubt the rudest and most dismissive person I have ever dealt with at any restaurant and I don't say that lightly. She definitely should not be in a job that interacts with the public. Luckily, my group left in good holiday cheer but Arabella and her staff certainly did everything they could to ruin or day. I highly discourage anyone in a group of more than four to avoid this restaurant.

      An Atlanta Institution & Always a favorite but NOT today. We were excited to come ans get some good food after visiting the Garden Lights but our experience quickly went south. We called ahead and asked if they could accommodate a large party prior to arriving and they said yes could accommodate us. But when we arrived we were greeted with rude, condescending service, 30 + minute wait for drinks, non-inclusive treatment, and just overall bad service. We were sat in the back patio near the employees Christmas party where we witnessed our waitress Karen and other staff members including the manager taking a vape break several times instead of serving us...now let's talk about the table behind us...they had EXCELLENT service and when we spoke with the manager she just shrugged her shoulders and dismissed us. I'll never come back after dining here for over 15+years...

      On December 20th, my family and friends came here after a great evening spending time at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! Despite how great the food is, the service is to be desired. I called ahead and informed the manager that we had a large party, and she informed me that they could accommodate us, but that they could only do one check due to our party size (12 people). Once we arrived, we were seated in the outdoor patio area, which was completely fine. Once it was time to order our food, the waitress proceeded to inform us that she could only do one check - and that's where the PROBLEM comes in! While I understand that parties of 6 or more typically are on one check, there was a table seated behind us (6 women) and each of them received their own individual checks by the same waiter who was serving us. When I mentioned this to her, she got an attitude and proceeded to say "Well, you've already talked to the manager and she told you that." My problem with this is that there's no consistency, and I'm not sure why the waitress, Karen F, had such a bad attitude - especially when you are working - not me.

      Fast forward, we ordered our food and when it came out, we had several issues. Food wasn't hot, not correct as ordered and worse, my father never received his food.

      Overrated. Unsubscribe. No thank you.

      I have brought my Meet-Up group to your restaurant five times in the past six or so years. There were never any complaints about the service or the food. We ranged in size from 14 people to 8 people. We always asked for separate checks and your wait-people said it was not a problem.

      I arrived last night with 7 guests and myself. When the waitress approached the table, I asked if we could have separate checks. The waitress said she could only give one check but she could run everyone's card for an equal amount. I asked her if she would bring me the itemized check and I would separate it for each guest so they would hand her their card and their total bill amount. She said that was fine.

      We finished our meal and I got the check. With provided paper and pen, I separated everyone's tab and distributed the totals around the table. The waitress took everyone's card/cash and the notes with each tab to run at the register. She returned a few minutes later to inform me that the total was $30 short and said, This is why we don't like doing this here! I told her I have brought this group here 5 times before and separate checks were not a problem. She said she had worked here for 10 years and with the old computer system they had never been able to do "separate checks". I did not want to argue about this point. One of my guests pulled his credit card out and told her to put the $30 on it. This made the situation even more awkward. We all started handing him cash. I knew I was not $30 off on the check, so I reviewed the itemized bill. I saw that there was an extra $20 entree on the tab. 9 entrees and 8 guests. By this time everyone had signed their charge receipts and ADDED more tips to cover the missing $30. All she said was.....oops. She took Steve's card back to refund $20 onto it, I think. I was never clear on what happened with Steve's reimbursement.... Anyway the waitress not only got the $55 20% large party gratuity, but she also picked up around $25 more.

      This whole trainwreck ruined my evening and I had to apologize to everyone more than once. It was just so unnecessary.

      I would suggest that you put this new policy about no individual checks on parties larger than 6 at the bottom of your menu and place a sign on the maitre 'd podium.... unless this is not true and your waitress was just being lazy.

      I emailed this message to the management of the restaurant. I got no response. I will never step foot in this place again.

      WILL NEVER RETURN !!!!!!! Horrible treatment by hostile yelling waitress and rude obnoxious management! I do want to thank this restaurant for driving me and my guests away making us find a much better restaurant nearby that wanted our business and will get my business in the future!

      Totally grossed out by the service here. Waited over 30 minutes and a server never came-

      - asked a server and a host to send someone and still no one came for ANOTHER 15 minutes until we just had to leave.

      A full blown horrible experience and restaurant. I would never recommend eating here unless you just wanna sit and stare at their dirty outdoor seating and dark and damp interior.

      My date wanted me to try this place so we came here for coffee and dessert after we had dinner elsewhere. It was a cold, rainy night and freezing cold outside and the hostess/waitress said the only place we can sit is outside. Wow! There was literally no one else sitting outside in the rainy weather. Everyone was seated inside and there were plenty of tables available. Needless to say, the service here is absolutely atrocious and makes for a horrible dining experience. However, since my date said it was a "good" place I gave it a chance. We sat outside where the patio was covered and I continued to shiver and freeze while sipping on a mediocre cappuccino and a dry slice of cake. No thank you!
