Applebee's Grill + Bar

Hear me out. Applebees is a good neighborhood grill. A great one even. I tell everyone in Rexburg that if you are going to applebees for just the food you will be disappointed. Dont get me wrong, it gets the job done. But the real reason you go to applebees is for the ambience idk what it is about the applebees playlist but there are no misses... AT ALL. the staff will put a smile on ur face guaranteed. Conversations at applebees never come to a lull. Im so confident inside this applebees even if i was supposed to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger and i had a lil accident before hand, i could look him in the eyes and give him a hearty handshake. And thats the applebees effect. I love this place. Half off apps are also a HUUUUGE score

Our waitress was super friendly and told us what she liked so we felt like we had some good recommendations. We had the waffle fries then we ended up ordering another one because they went so quick with four of us. The chicken and beef sandwiches were all delicious and she kept our glasses full.

This restaurant has been excellent this summer.
Waiters/Waitresses have been great, top notch.
Food/Dishes has been the best I have seen for a while.
I think I am going to keep going back.

Only thing good at this location is the wings. I tried the chicken fajita roll, which was nothing like in the pictures. It was basically the fillings of the chicken taco you get at Dell taco in a full size tortilla for 10x's the price. 95% tortilla. Disgusting and makes me not want to ever go back.

We ordered chicken tender dinner and
Steak dinner. Both very good. The garlic mashed potatoes were a bit bland but fixed easily. Steak and tenders were perfectly prepared.

Really disgusting meal at this location. Had the rack of ribs. They were way over cooked to start with , but were microwaved then slathered with bbq sauce to try and make them palatable. Side of broccoli was old with dark stains on stems, obviously straight out of a bag, heated and served. One and done here. Service at bar seating was mediocre at best.

The only good thing I could say is the staff was friendly. The steaks were over cooked just not good. We did get in after 9:00, so maybe the kitchen wasn't geared up for us.

We had a great family dinner tonight. Server was nice and attentive. Kids left with full bellies. Dessert brownie bite was small and just right.
I wish my green beans tasted better and my steak was more rare but overall was great.

Most mid meal i've had in Rexburg. Food took forever to get to the table and when it did it wasn't even warm. Got the four cheese mac & chicken tenders but if someone else had ordered it for me I'd say I had the one cheese with chalk sticks. Server we had was nice to us though.

I want to extend a special Thank You to JJ, Tony & Brock for ensuring my safe exit from the restaurant a couple weeks ago. The food & drinks were fine as expected, but I happened to sit too close to one crazy individual. They went the extra mile to get me to my vehicle undetected, not knowing what the guy may be capable of.
