I am not usually attracted to chain restaurants, but Anthony's has proven themselves to be different. I have visited their restaurants throughout the US. I do not recall ever having a bad experience or poor meal. I can only assume they have a very diligent and comprehensive training program.
I've visited the restaurant in Bellingham many times. I always have a very pleasurable time and great meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The water views are beautiful, and I would recommend the fish and chips.
Food: 3/5. I enjoyed the half dozen oysters,
Fish and chips: 4/5. Both the fries and fish batter were perfectly crispy, and the fish itself was moist and tender. I recommend this dish!
Crab and shrimp toast: 3/5. The crab and shrimp filling wasn't particularly flavorful, and the toast was a little soggy.
Lobster roll: 2/5. The lobster mayo filling was runny and cold, and I didn't care for the untoasted sweet roll buns.
Service and atmosphere: 5/5. The water views of the harbor are beautiful, and the service is fast.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lucie L.Lynnwood, WA10120120Dec 12, 2023
My fiancé and I came to the area for a little getaway and stumbled upon this restaurant. Great views, nice upscale-ish with a simple brunch menu.
The clam chowder had a unique taste which we loved.
Eggs Benedict was a bit bland for me but the ham was nice and thick which was a good addition. The seasoning on the potatoes were tasty as well.
The burger that my fiancé just had to have, was good but dry.
********the star of the show was definitely the blueberry coffee cake with that amazing butter. The fact that it was also complimentary was just mind blowing. I would buy that combo at any store near me if they sold it!
The service was minimal and quick.
The only minor complaint would be the bathrooms. They seemed quite downgraded compared to the restaurant.
We loveddddd the gingerbread house displays!!
Will be back for their dinner menu when we come back to the area!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2445261374Sep 3, 2023
We stopped in here for lunch before catching a flight out of Bellingham. Beautiful view of the harbor. Nice to enjoy lunch and look at the boats.
Service was fantastic! Great recommendations and friendly.
Food was good. Not the best we have had and kinda high-priced. Maybe you okay for the view. But it was tasty. Love the bread they give you to start.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kathy B.Carmichael, CA1827May 5, 2024

Update: I have now been contacted by Anthonys and they are making good on the situation !
This was a bad visit for us. I got oregon shrimp pasta and my wife got crab and shrimp pasta
We were both not happy with our dishes
The sauce was a bit too thin but worst of all it had no seasoning, no taste
My wifes dish cost $14 more because it had crab but there was almost no crab and there was a piece of cartilage
The meals were not enjoyable
Rather than create a scene, I decided to give then feedback through the website
Now, 4 days later NO RESPONSE from Anthonys in regard to our experienceHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Feb 14, 2022Previous reviewWe went here for valentines day
My wife got the garlic crab, I got seafood fettuccine
Both our dishes were outstanding
Both were some of the best we ever had
My dish was not skimping on the seafood portions and was a great deal at $29
The dessert that night was baked as ordered with a bit of a wait but was very impressive
A five star evening! - Mar 18, 2023
A great restaurant on all levels. Not cheap - but you get what you pay for.
The food is on point and meets expectations. I have been here over a hundred times in the last 10 years and the service is almost always phenomenal. You can tell the employees like their jobs! And as far as the setting goes, it's on the harbor with windows surrounding you as you stare at the boats and calm water.
It's a solid 4 star for sure.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - W K.San Jose, CA0119761Apr 5, 20241 check-in
Food was good along with serve. Didn't have reservations so we ate in the bar which was okay. Ordered a bunch of Happy hour appetizers nd had the special for dinner which is a three course menú. Includes starter, entree and dessert for $33. An additional $4 to add on Oysters which is good valve. Unfortunately my wife got a bad oyster and had food poisoning that night.

Impeccable seafood and a wine list that pairs perfectly.
Made a reservation for Sunday evening, ladies night and stayed until close! We started our dinner by ordering craft cocktails, and didn't even touch the menu until we had finished the first round of drinks. I highly recommend the limoncello martini, especially if you're a fan of sweet+tart flavors!
After our initial cocktail, we moved onto a bottle of Chardonnay to pair with the Silver Planked Alaskan Salmon and Seafood Fettuccine mains. Both were excellent and definitely repeatable.
Our waiter was attentive, but did not rush us. We had a great time and would definitely repeat the experience!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura K.Westford, MA125174May 18, 2023
Came with my mom on a beautiful spring evening to celebrate a late Mother's Day. Id made a reservation, but we were quite early. Happy to say they had a table ready for us early too, so we didn't have a long wait. Someone came over right away with water, and to let us know our server would be over shortly. The server came on a timely basis and brought some fantastic sourdough bread and butter and took drink orders. She was back quickly with drinks and to take our dinner order. We started with clam chowder and a Caesar salad. The salad was great - crispy, and just the right amount of dressing that wasn't overly thick. The clam chowder, however, was very thick and creamy (and tasted great). I had the Black Cod for dinner, and the lemony sauce was great. The fish was tender, and it came with a crunchy slaw under the fish filet, along with some jasmine rice. Great meal!
I'll say that my mom didn't like the crab and artichoke dip she ordered at all. The waitress was very understanding and quickly replaced it with my mom's choice of a Caesar salad. And then they took both that salad and the dip off the check, AND offered us a free dessert. I thought that was going above and beyond. They handled her complaint with great professionalism and great customer service.
We'll be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
