Update: got an email with the following generic apology on 8/21/23. No further follow up. This place is outdated, unkept, and has poor service.

Aug 13, 2023Previous reviewGot there around 8:50 am today, there were maybe 4 or 5 tables there when we arrived. We ordered around 9:15 am. We did get beignets maybe 15 mins later. Waited and waited for entrees. Witnessed several other tables (including 1 with a larger party than us) get their food before us. Waitress said food would be out shortly. Nothing was produced. Left around 10:05 am with no food in sight. Asked for check to pay for beignets and coffee. Another server came out with another round of beignets as if they just began making our order. We turned her away. Only bright side is that they didn't charge us for the beignets and 2 coffees. Left never seeing a single entree for our table come out. Still hungry. Still mad. Do. Not. Recommend.

Just ate here today. Ordered the Deep South biscuit sandwich. There was a piece of plastic in my food. I reported it to the server and still had to pay for it. I won't go back.

So once again this restaurant never ceases to disappoint. We used the online "get in line" service. Placed my name, and it told me I'd be in line and seated in 15-35 minutes. Finally get to the restaurant. They find our name and tell us we will have to wait another 35 minutes to be seated. Then the young girl who was helping us got an attitude. I don't understand why we have a waitlist to get in early if it isn't going to be used. Why can't you all use what you're advertising? Thanks but no thanks. Just avoid this restaurant.

Allison, we are very sorry for the poor experience you had at our cafe. We want every dining experience to be perfect for our guests. Inattentive, inefficient service is definitely an unpleasant situation, and it is not the standard we set or strive for at our cafes. Feb 28, 2021Previous reviewGot seated fairly early because of the waitlist that they offer. However, after we were seated, we waited 30 minutes for our food. No one asked us if we wanted a refill on drinks or checked in to tell us that our food was coming.

Seating was very convenient as we booked online to be placed on the waiting list! I ordered the hash brown Benedict and 2 mimosas( 1 strawberry and 1 blueberry)!!! We were a group of 6 and our waitress didnt miss a beat taking care of us!

The server was nice and the food came out quick enough.
The food was not good and did not look good. The eggs benedict barely had any onions or sauce. The sauce was pretty bad. The grits were not salted and didn't have butter.

This was such a great experience! Everything tasted delicious, we got our food quickly, and our server Jemiracle was amazing! Would definitely return in the future. If you go, get the biscuit beignets - they're incredible, and the honey marmalade is to die for.

The service was poor at best, part of our tables order wasn't brought out. The appetizer never arrived, and when we asked to cancel it, the waitres brought it out anyway even though the meal was almost finished. Our coffee wasn't refilled, and no condiments were brought with the meal even after asking. Spending this much for breakfast, you would expect a better experience. The last experience wasn't great, so we thought we would give it another try, but this time was worse. None of my family are one to complain, but we really hate to lose a nice breakfast place in such a nice area to poor staffing choices.

I remember this place as once being good.

The service was great, the ambiance was thought out. The outside dining area was adjacent to the central water fountain. Average wait time, the food was great as expected. We did get a 1 of 1 specialty drink made for the table. Would recommend and you will too.

The wait is ridiculous. Two hours to seat one person. They sat down a lady with more people who cut in line. The food was warm. I figured that the wait was long because there were no tables but there was plenty. I figured the food was going to be out of this world and it wasn't. It was overrated and got cold quick. I'd rather go to Waffle House where the food is hot and fresh and the wait isn't two hours. The waitress was fantastic but the staff in the front had no sense of urgency to seat people. Needless to say I will not be returning.
