This place fell off the food sucks and some of the staff are standoffish it seems. The al pastor was just salt the carne asada was nothing to get excited about and the carnitas were dried out and flavorless skip this spot amigos in brighton center is better right now.

Anna's got a fresh new coat of paint, looking good.
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Nov 3, 2021Previous reviewbeen stopping here for the past year or so. this taqueria always delivers. i like their version of the quesadilla, it's basically a burrito but the wrap was pan fried first then stuffed with the usual burrito fillings.
their horchata is more flavorful than others, more spice in each than other places.

Yesterday was so disappointing. Got a very skimpy burrito, very short on filling which was probably a good thing because the Carnitas was totally gristley/hard stringy. There wasn't much left in the container but the clerk said it was good, so i went with it. It was SO NOT good! No wonder she barely put any in.

Sadly, I have to give Anna's two stars. I'm not sure what happened to them? Granted it's been a while since I've been in the area and had the opportunity of stopping by. Were they sold? I remember the men who would chop carnitas and veggies so quickly and efficiently. They would build the best burrito and definitely knew what they were doing. The staff seems to have changed and the people working there now barely know how to roll a burrito. The one I got came apart. The authenticity is gone. The food seems to be lacking in flavor. I would frequent the Beacon Street location frequently. Sadly, they closed the original.

Food is not great quality. Beans barely cooked, meat dry. Seems to be a lot less popular than before. Won't be coming back.

Nov 11, 2019Previous reviewVery good food, only note is the prices are significantly higher than posted online, so be mindful. Still good prices, still recommend. Good sodas as well. Can't comment on the atmosphere as I've only ordered takeout and delivery. Definitely update the online menu.

I love me some Chipotle, but I have to hand it to Anna's Taqueria, especially this location, for being the very best Mexican place with multiple locations in the area. The burritos, tacos, and quesadillas always taste super fresh and flavorful, especially the juicy steak, with good portions as well. I believe they use pretty organic ingredients all around. It's a good place to eat at or get take out, as you just pick out what you want and pay there at the counter. Highly recommended!

Made my pregnant wife wait 20 minutes before rudely telling us they weren't open (yelp says they were open at this time).

Do not get habanero sauce under any circumstances. It was simply inedible, and I think I have a decent spice tolerance. Wasted a $12 bowl because I decided to add it.

The food is always good. The people providing service are the best. Except when there is a delivery . They owe me $26 dollars, which they agreed to pay me back because I got someone else's order, not mine. Tonight I ordered for myself and didn't get my soda. Now it's always something's missing when it's a delivery.

What happened to you guys?
Anna's was my favorite place in the whole city of Boston to go out and eat.
Being in the restaurant business myself I know it's hard to please everybody.
However, the past visits to Anna's have been less than satisfying to the point that I actually came to the conclusion as to why I put myself through the disappointment even though there is always a glimmer of hope you would come through the way you used to.
I'm sorry Anna"s there's a lot of competition out there in terms of taquerÃas when you were the pioneers back in the early 90's.
Time to move on.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 2May 31, 2008Previous reviewi have been going to anna's since they opened.
altho they used to make a better burrito back in the day, it is still very good for the money.
whenever i'm in the area, i pop in and get a super chicken loaded to go even if i'm not hungry.
definitely better than boca grande.
