Ann Taylor

The people that work here are very friendly. I never feel pressured to buy anything. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and answer any questions I may have. The clothes always seem to fit me perfectly with my short torso and skinny waist. The petite line they carry fits just right along with some of the regular sizes!

I get a lot of my work clothes from Ann Taylor. The tops and skirts are cute, but their dresses are not flattering so I get them elsewhere. I never had a problem with their service, but it has gotten much better in recent months with the new staff.

We were greeted with happy enthusiasm at the door and informed immediately of where the sales racks were... so naturally, I went straight back there, while Mom perused the racks for a dress for my niece...

Cute pants... my size... petites... 40% off the already reduced price... ok - twist my arm - I guess I'll try 'em. I grab 2 pair, and am eagerly escorted to the dressing room, only to discover the smaller one is too big! I go back to the rack for an even smaller pair, grab it, and try it on.

Like Cinderella with her impractical shoes, the pants fit perfectly and I am joyful... and my purchase isn't going to slice my feet up if it breaks! Take that Cinderella, with your stupid prince!

And now I'm a size 6. (albeit only in one pair of pants in my closet, but I'll take it.)

I'm not the biggest Ann Taylor fan, but I like to stop in occasionally. However, this Ann Taylor is awful. Clothes are fine, everything is fairly organized, but the staff is awful. They are neither friendly nor acknowledging. However, I find that this location has a better selection and doesn't sell out as fast as the Farragut one. Just hope that you don't need staff help.

I prefer the Chinatown location. The sales staff are friendlier and more helpful there.

This one is decent though - always clean and well-stocked - no complaints. Just thoroughly average.

I loathe going into this store. The staff have never been great. My last experience has me convinced to only return online orders via mail. I tried to find an online survey to complain but could not find one so here I am on yelp.

I tried on my clothes after showering and applying deodorant, which apparently had not fully dried. I came in with a few items to return and was created by a salesperson I have not liked much in the past. She looked at a black garment then at their return policy and told me I had worn/damaged it. It was deodorant stains from trying it on! I explained the same thing would have happened if I had tried it on in the store and water would take it right off. She was a bit nasty and acted like she was doing me a favor. Crappy customer service....

Nasty, rude. unhelpful "service" from 2 women who clearly hate their job.

This location was... okay. I agree with the previous reviewer about the salespeople. The first salesperson I met in the store was ridiculously friendly- she asked me how I was doing 3 times. Then I get to the register and smile at the salesperson behind the counter- and she gives me a "whatever" look and turns away. I ignore it and continue browsing. Then I go to the counter again and ask the second salespersons a REALLY SIMPLE question (Would they have this same dress in another size at a different location?). She gives a "what are you talking about?" look and says she has no idea- then proceeds to say (in a very rude way), "Do you have any other questions?" On the whole, I wasn't too happy, but they have nice clothes, which is the reason for the 3 stars.

This is my favorite Ann Taylor Loft location! I started shopping here when I was 12 or 13, and the salespeople were either too friendly or extremely stand-offish. There were a few oddball staff members who would look at me wondering why I was shopping at an adult store. Now that I'm less than a month away from 16, they take me more seriously and I fit in better! This store has great merchandise, and the salespeople are attentive (now). I bought two dresses on sale there for around $52 including tax - their original combined price? Over $120. I waited for them to go on sale, and I got a good deal! For the most part, their collection is made up of pretty things, and I just love to shop here!

Very unhelpful staff. They provided incorrect information about the company return policy, which I confirmed after calling customer service. Did not make any effort beyond the bare minimum
