We were greeted right away and seated. Heather was super friendly and welcoming! She answered my questions about the dishes & informed me that everything was homemade, including the dressings and bread. I had their Italian dressing and it was delicious!!! The garlic bread was delicious as well. Came out nice & hot. I got the chicken bergamo with fettuccine and it was very good. It was a generous portion and I had some left over to take home.
I would recommend this place to anyone! Fantastic customer service & she gave us a 10% military discount without us even asking.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carol D.Chicopee, MA06Sep 1, 2017
This is now Angela's restaurant as it was recently purchased and it used to be Angelo's.
First there are a lot of people just hanging around and few customers. I get this is family but if they don't work they don't need to be there.
They need to take a course in Safe Serve. The lack of care for food prep was appalling. A tall guy who was not dressed to cook prob just stopped by - owners husband, brother not sure. No gloves on, cuts the grinder roll, goes to the register to cash someone out, rubs his cheek a few times then back to prepping the sandwich. Never washing hands or donning gloves. Reaches bare handed into a bucket of chopped lettuce and proceeds to make the grinder.
Bar tables at front entrance were filthy. Employees or family just hanging around so not like they were busy. Only two tables occupied. Floors are disgusting. Decor is depressing. There is no place for fake flowers in any restaurant period. They add nothing and attract dust.
My cheeseburger grinder prepped by someone else was totally bland, tasted like the burger had been pre cooked hours before. Nasty. I am not especially fussy when it comes to food but I am regarding hygiene. This was absolutely hands down the worst grinder I have ever eaten.
Needless to say I won't be back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dan H.Chicopee, MA04Oct 31, 2016
What a nice restaurant! Like going to visit friends. The pizza was a great thin crust traditional pizza. The house wine was very good. Ann Marie and Ana Maria (truth!) were attentive, charming and entertaining.
This was my first visit and I'm sure there will be many more!
Edit-
New owners changed the name to Angela's. Pizza was good. In despite of the Budweiser sign lit up in the window, there is no beer. Which would have helped with the commercial laden country music that was a little too loud. Hopefully they will improve.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jen C.Chicopee, MA447Oct 2, 2016

Terrible Cold Cut grinder. Meat looked old and tasted disgusting. THE tomatoes were cut so thick they were falling out of the grinder. Barely any lettuce and forgot the pickles I asked to put on the grinder. Waste of money and needless to stay I will be sticking with my usual places as this venture to try something new backfired severely.

Ordered a small pizza and was told to expect delivery within 30 minutes, pizza finally showed after 50 minutes and it was cold. Overall the pizza was good and the only thing that prevented a higher rating was the delivery issues, this would easily be a 4 star or higher if I was just rating a (hot) pizza.

If I could rate this a -1 I would. It was that bad! I am celebrating my anniversary and in years past we went to this location many many times at a place called spiros. A trip down memory lane we decided to try it out.
We get greeted instantly. Given menus. Waitress very attentive. After about 5 mins we were ready to order. We were brought out drinks right away. 10 mins go by and still no soup or salad. A party of 6 have been seated by this time and a party of 2. 15 mins in not so much as a glance. Party of 6 get there salads. Then the party of 2 get mozzarella sticks served ! A hot appetizer before our salad?!
25 mins in after walking past us countless times finally waitress asks if we'd like another beer (its been empty at least 10 mins). Instantly I ask where our food is. She said its gonna be right up. Within a minute soup and salad. For the record don't get the soup it's def not homemade by any means. And within another 2 minutes our food appears. So no time to eat the appetizers.
Guess what? All that time and they got the order wrong ! And no garlic bread! When I made a mention of that the order was wrong the waitress looked confused and uncaring. What I'm assuming is the manager came over within a few minutes. And I told her how awful the service was and this isn't even what I ordered. She offered to have my food remade. But honestly we are 40minutes in now.
Only time I have ever decided to leave a restaurant. The few bites of food we had was awful and the being completely ignored and looked over was uncalled for. It's a small place and we were physically walked past atleast 15-20 times.
I have never had such an awful experience. Honestly I opened this account just to warn others. My night was completely ruined with what I thought would be a nice Italian meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ang D.Sacramento, CA215615Jan 6, 2016
There are lots of Italian restaurants in the area, but this little gem is unique--a genuine family feeling when you walk in, plus the food is obviously made from the heart. Service is also quick and friendly. Their dinner specials are a great deal, especially for dates. When my other half and I went there for dinner, it was about $30 for two, which included an appetizer, salad/soup, entree and dessert. I especially recommend their eggplant parmigiana. I usually don't like that dish, but theirs won me over. Bon appetit! :)

Real nice local place. Food was fresh and they treat you like family. Make sure you try the sausage, it's very good. Eat local !
