The man and I had an AWESOME couples massage here today. Join their e/mail list and you can get some great deals. It's in a little strip mall but don't let the outside sway you, it's nice, clean and welcoming inside. Our therapists were GREAT.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to A.H.H. for the first time. The LED sign in the front window totally threw me off and I wondered if i had made a mistake, but boy was I wrong! I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff and the atmosphere was tranquil and relaxing. My LMT Jezelle was FANTASTIC!!! For some reason I get a little anxious before having a massage but Jezelle put me right at ease. The massage was so relaxing I fell asleep which after 20 or more massages was a first. The prices were great (sign up for coupons), the place was clean and mellow. This was the best massage experience I have had in the Portland area and I have tried at least 10 different spas/clinics/independants....treat yourself!

Before I went for my first (and last ever) massage at this horrific enterprise I noticed two things:

1) A very unflattering review in February on CitySearch with a customer who had billing issues

2) A few very positive reviews, all within a day of each other, which was very curious and made me leery

I should have listened to my doubts. Rod is an extremely dishonest man. He sends out emails offering huge discounts, and folks --like my fiance -- often buy packages of more than 1 massage. Then the recipient of the gift shows up to redeem the massage. AT this time, Rod or his office assistant has "computer issues" and it takes forever to get the billing straight and that time gets taken out of the massage since they have someone booked for right after.

This happened to me and when I spoke to a few friends it turns out that at least 5 other people have had similar experiences.

I also suspect that the favorable reviews lauding Rod's ability to run a small business were written by Rod himself. This place is truly a farce. I will concede that the masseuses are very good, just not good enough to cover up Rod's lack of scruples and basic human decency.

I would not have purchased a yelp deal from this business if I had known they were going to move out of town. Can't really give them a good or bad review since I wasn't able to travel to their new site.

I've come here since it was Portland Center Spa and AHH honored my gift certificate from them. They have one of the most relaxing atmospheres and great massage therapists. It does feel like a revolving door as far as their employees, but excepting one very strange and rude experience I have had my best and most effective massages here. I like the specials. When I'm really in need of a "tune-up" this is where I go.

I don't often write reviews but the massage that I got from Rod Dudley today was amazingly phenomenal. After working so hard last monday, riding my bike for 28 miles on tuesday, playing tennis and swimming yesterday my whole body was just pissed at me. I called AHH to see if they had anything open for today and since Robin was not available til later and was told that Rod was available. At first I was hesitant because had been pretty good with her style of massage and also love it but I was assured by Joanie that it will be as good as Robin and if not it will be even better. So I went for it and boy was I in for a treat! He worked on my body confidently and made me feel like I have a new body again. So glad to have had a massage with Rod! Now if Robin is not available I have him as a back up or vice versa.

I had a massage with Tristin two weeks ago and she was absolutely wonderful. She hit all the right spots and I left feeling so much better!

Unfortunately my massage with Rod yesterday has left me in way more pain than I was experiencing before my appointment. I have had many massages and I know that muscles can be sore afterwards, but I have a a major crick in my neck and extreme pain in the shoulder that was just feeling dull pain yesterday. I'm so much worse off that I am going somewhere else this afternoon to get it fixed - that's right, I am paying for another massage to fix the pain caused by yesterday's massage. :(

I wasn't planning on getting a massage while visiting Portland but I got off the plane feeling awful so I found this place. You'd never know it from its non-descript location in a strip mall, but Angelic Healing Hands is a gem! Private tub and sauna in a lovely, clean room adjoining the massage room. Rod used the perfect amount of pressure and was very accommodating and concerned with my comfort. I felt so much better and it pretty much saved the trip! Will go there every time I visit Portland whether I need it or not.

I had the most AMAZING massage today from Joanie at the Beaverton location. She truly has magical healing hands. The pressure was just right, it flowed smoothly, and her energy was very calming and relaxing. This was the best massage I have ever received! I strongly recommend Joanie to anyone looking for a relaxing and healing massage!

I love this place. Let me begin by saying Rod gave me one of the best massages I have ever received: listened to my concerns, used deep, firm pressure, stretched me out, it was soooo relaxing and rejuvenating.
I used to go to Aveda salon/spas, because I like that they have the steam room/sauna or hot tub you can hang out in for 15 minutes or so before you go in to get your massage. AHH is awesome because you have your own PRIVATE facilities. That means: your own toilet and shower, hairdryer and sink, your own private sauna, your own private soaking tub. Everything is clean, relaxing and calming.
Rack prices are average/a good deal considering the amenities, but even better, you can purchase discounted packages right on their website. Also, I got a 20% off coupon for myself and my referral on a next visit. Also, parking is no-hassle and free, since they share a lot with other businesses.
I believe this is a totally unique and THE BEST place to get a massage in Portland.
