Personally, I love to come here first for most of my projects because they have an extremely wide selection. They pretty much have almost every type of material you need and their prices are really cheap compared to other places in the fabric district. Looking at all the rows of fabrics stores along the many streets can be pretty overwhelming. Having been to most of the stores, I can say that this place makes my life much easier. It has most of what I need all in one place and I know I'm not totally getting ripped off. Depending on the type of fabric your looking for, you might find a better deal somewhere but it might not be worth your time tracking it down. And like most other places too, you might be able to haggle a discount if you buy a lot. Lots of people tend to buy whole bolts of fabric so that they do bring in new stuff quite often. I enjoy the variety and convenience of this store especially because I always park my car right behind this store in the rooftop lot. I think it's one of the cheapest lots for parking in the area.
Oh, and I totally disagree with Helen W. I do not like M & L Fabrics at all.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Melissa R.Los Angeles, CA4154749Feb 3, 2014
Love Angel Textiles. They have a huge selection and are great people. He actually owns a storefront too. He supplies for Michael Levin and all the big stores, so if you want fabrics, come to these guys first.
