DOOO NOOOT GOOO HERE!
Tonight I called in to see when they close, and they said "6pm", so I came in at 5:50, and they were already closed! I am leaving for a business trip tomorrow (they're closed on Sundays) and they are holding my clothes hostage.
I just did the math, we have spent over $4,000 in the past 4 years here, and they are forcing me to take my business elsewhere...that's a shame. They've made some petty mistakes in the past, but I like to be loyal to a business, so I overlooked it. This, I can't overlook. It's just plain BAD BUSINESS.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Naft G.New York, NY06May 14, 2013

I have lived on the UWS for almost 2 years, and used these guys for my dry cleaning and laundry drop...until today. I went to the gym this morning, ran by my apartment and brought three big bags of laundry for drop off. The clock on the wall said 7:55 and they open at 8:00, so I put the bags down and went back outside to get some air. When the clock inside read 8:00, I went back in and the woman who works behind the counter says, "It's not 8:00." I said,, "The clock on the wall behind you says 8:00". She starts yelling at me that it's not 8:00, gets out her cell phone, etc. I said, "you realize if I leave now you will be losing my business forever?" She said, "Fine."
So I left and went down the street to one of the other 400 dry cleaners in my neighborhood. As a lawyer, I have a lot of dry cleaning, and probably spent $100-$150 per month there.
This crazy woman has no idea what customer service means. She has been a bit rude in the past, but today was unreal.
Avoid this place like the plague.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chantel G.Beverly Hills, CA014Dec 23, 2012
Don't go here!!! This cleaners lost two of my designer dresses, and I'm convinced a staff member stole them. Designer dresses don't just walk away. I'm still waiting for the owner to reinburse me for my property.

This place is a rip off. They advertise over the telephone as doing pick up and delivery laundry service for $1 per pound. This is the same rate as every other laundry service in the neighborhood. They picked up the laundry and then delivered it and charged $31. There was 23 pounds of laundry and so I called to inquire about the pricing and the manager informed me that there is a $7 per bag minimum. We had two seperate bags (1 with plenty of room) and a second that contained 3 shirts. Had we been told of this up front we obviously would have combined the bags and saved $8. When I explained this to the manager she was unwilling to refund the $8. Needless to say I will never be using these cleaners again. They are sleazy merchants!!!

DO NOT EVER USE THIS BUSINESS!!! The woman who calls herself the manager (short, older, with black hair) is TERRIBLE! She gave me such a hard time when I went in to pick up a dress that had been altered! The WORST customer service - AWFUL!! I asked for her name and the owners' contact info and she refused - and instead she swore at me and screamed at me to leave the store!
NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS - they obviously DO NOT deserve it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Susan G.San Francisco, CA5434Jul 1, 2010
Don't go here!! Terrible management and service--extremely rude. very shoddy service---my shirts came back like they weren't even washed at all. Disgusting place looks like it hasn't been taken care of in decades...just moved into this neighborhood and extremely disappointed. Don't bother with them.

I've always had good experience with them. Yes, sometimes they close a little early - but they do a much better job on the shirts and pants than the other places nearby (I see you LaMode in your shirt ruining ways).

Two stars is being rather friendly. They open at 8 a.m., and sometimes a little late, which if you're working a regular job is not ideal, and 9 out of 10 times there is attitude. Further, they close at 7 pm, and sometimes earlier. Beyond their unreasonable hours, they are not very good about following instructions / requests. Overall, bad customer service. I would schlep the extra block or two for another dry cleaners if you have that option.

THIS IS THE WORST CLEANING SERVICE IN THE UPPERWEST. Listen to all the other reviews and do not go there. I have never met employees that were so unbelievably rude. I have been there three times and every single experience has been worst than the past one. I always thought maybe I got an employee on a bad day but it seems like every day is a bad day in there. With all of the options for cleaners it is shocking that anyone would go there and deal with these people. I can only hope that the owner reads this and finds some employees who actually look to treat people with respect It is a shame that in this economy a business owner is going to lose a ton of business because of bad hiring decisions. Save yourself the trouble and walk one extra block to find another person willing to treat you with respect in addition to cleaning your clothes.
