    • Q:

Can i bring camper with electric and sewer?

      A:

I saw small campers there, not 5th wheels or big buses. Discreet should be fine for the day. beautiful beach and boardwalks all the way to the ocean.

    • Q:

Is there parking at this state park so we can use the beach for a day?

      A:

There is a ton of parking right next to the little store that is there. It's a very short walk to the beach - have fun!

Clean park, garbage cans, a few different trails & places to ride your bikes, fish. There's restrooms but only light is a skylight so go before dark. They close at sunset.

There's a beach. I'm not sure how it is because We had our dogs & that's the only place they're not allowed in the park. Which wasn't an issue at all. We loved the two trails we did.

The dunes trail is covered & a lot of green. The marsh trail is open sky & near the water. Both were pretty in their own way. They also have just open area that's concrete to walk or ride bikes if you don't want to the trails.

I have been to Anastasia State Park a few times. It's a gorgeous waterfront park offering camping as well as shorelines to pull up a boat and hang out.

My friend camped out for a concert at the St. Augustine amphitheater. I met him at the campsite before the concert and we ate dinner on his picnic table. There was a power source available and restrooms within walking distance. Very well kept camp grounds.

Recently, I went with friends on a boat and we anchored and spent our afternoon on the shoreline of the park. One of the prettiest beaches with trees and lots of vegetation. The water was a little muddy on the bottom when we walked out a little bit. Such an awesome time!

No matter what your plans, Anastasia is a good choice!

It's a nice well kept state park like most in FL. It has a little shop by the area that takes you to the beach.

Came on Sunday 6/25/23. Entrance fee was $7. There was ample parking; many tables available for sitting to picnic. Sand was wonderful, beach water was warm. The were two showering systems available on the deck that lead you to the beach; however only was available. Bathrooms were clean, and fully stocked. Beautiful walk from the parking lot to the beach. Everyone was so friendly. There were bins to throw away trash and recycables. My only suggestion would be to place a mosquito repellent by the picnic areas we all had to wrap up our food early because we all ended up getting bit really bad.

I was expecting that it would be tough to get into this park on a spectacular day for Memorial Day weekend, and there was a wait at the gate. This appeared to be simple inefficiency, however, as once I paid my fee I was able to get to an abundance of open parking and enjoy a long, relatively uninterrupted walk on the beach. Notably, they charge a reduced fee if you drive in alone vs if you have two or more, which has got to be the first time that anyone ever did a solo traveler like me such a favor. It's also a good deal if you have a large group.

The kayak rental area held some interest for me, but closed rather early. Driving to the end of the road gets one very close to the ocean, with mats laid down to make crossing the dunes easier. There were some facilities, though I was a bit miffed the water filter had a red light (needing a filter change).

The beach itself was long, good easily for an hour walk to the point and back, and held a variety of birds and, surprisingly, insects. Other inland areas probably offer some intriguing trails as well, but if you want a big stretch of natural beach, this is a good destination.

I've been here multiple times at various times of the year. It's really a lovely park area. I believe it's an $8 fee per car. The park has ample parking, a pristine beach area that's easy to access and small hiking paths (both through a forest area and a mossy area). We've brought a picnic each time, but there is a snack stand near the beach area. It also has a camping area and kayak rentals for those who are interested. There's plenty of natural beauty to see and it hasn't ever felt crowded. I would highly recommend a visit here and know that I'll certainly return.

Wish the neighbors were a bit more polite because we got cursed at in multiple languages by one couple. This dampened our joy and it made the rest of our vaca extremely uncomfortable, but that may not be the case for others. Beside this subject, which still makes me sad, the park overall was such a joy. The walking trails were peaceful and well covered with trees so the sun doesn't burn your skin. My favorite part is that pets are allowed, which gave Boots and I some outdoor adventures. Bathrooms may seem far but there's really cool trails that you can use to cut through the trees. There's a gate at a metal fence before you pull into the campsites, and I highly suggest walking or biking through there. It's a whimsical street with beautiful houses and fellow nice tourists to talk to. I'm not sure if I'll return, maybe at a time where it's not typically busy so that my happy memories get tarnished by miserable people.

Looking to chill at St Augstine beach and husband found this little spot. For an $8 car pass, we were able to enjoy miles of clean, laid-back beachfront with just the right amount of amenities.

Plenty of parking, simple bathrooms and rinse stations, equipment rentals and benches. Soft red-tinted sand, pretty shells, variety of birds and happy people milling about. The water was a bit cold for swimming in early January, but the waves were gentle to deep our feet in.

I didn't see any lifeguards about so I would assume swimming is at your own risk. But for our purposes, this was a perfect place to relax for a few hours before going on to our next stop.

Rented a kayak on 4/21 from the park. The crew working were extremely helpful, kind, and informative!!

As for the kayaking experience itself, it was gorgeous with dolphins all around and sea turtles popping their heads out of the water.

It was an all around amazing experience start to finish. The park is beautiful with wildlife/sea-life all around :)

Lighthouse and two dolphins if you look closely :)

A beautiful Florida State Park to visit.

Lots of camping spaces here with clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry machines. I even saw clothes lines next to the bathrooms.

Electric and water at each site.

With easy trails to see the ancient sand dunes or the marsh areas there is lots to explore.

      A beach to chillax on.

They also have kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes for rent as you enter the box.

Spend time at the beach or head into the oldest city of the US...St. Augustine.

You can't go wrong with this State Park!
