AMLI River North

Beautiful building with excellent amenities. I love the views, the rooftop (pool, grills, lounge area), gym, golf simulator, and more. It's in a terrific area.

Pretty Nice Building but air and water quality is suspect. For example you always need to keep the water running for a while until it becomes clear enough to drink. Another issue I had was of the air quality from the ventilation/ac which really made be sick after living in the building for over a year, but since moving into my new place my health really has improved dramatically. I am not exactly sure what it was in the air that made me sick, but I suspect it may be some kind of mold or just general dust since I would notice lots of dust after turning on the AC.

The building is kind of nice but not uncommon for the area, after moving my health improved dramatically, and I am back to being the person I was before moving to AMLI.

5/29/2021 ridiculous noise pollution of not only their own apartment units but all buildings around them. DJ blasting music on their rooftop at absurd volume with literally no residents there even listening to it. What is the point?

I've lived here for two months now, and what a two months to move in. Right as the Shelter-in-Place order kicked in, essentially locking me here even if I didn't like it. Management is fantastic, maintenance is fantastic, the apartments are fantastic, and the amenities (when they're open - they closed them to be socially responsible during the pandemic) are top tier. I love living here and if you move in, go for SilverIP internet! Ridiculously fast and much cheaper than the alternatives.

I've lived at amli for two years and just recently resigned my lease for a third year. I love it here . The amenities are amazing and the outside club area is so big and pretty. Also the assistant manager Cathy is always helpful with anything we need and always gets back to us very quickly with any questions we have. Definitely recommend living here!

I love this building. If you are looking for a top notch rental unit in River North, this is the place! The location is perfect and easily accessible to The Loop, restaurants & bars, and shopping. We recently hosted an event in the Club Lounge and it was wonderful. The space is gorgeous. It felt relaxed and casual because the space was so inviting. We all agreed that we could not have booked a better space. The Amli management (Pam and Annie) is easy to work with and very responsive. Whether you are new to the city or lived here your entire life, you must add this building to your must-see list.

I've lived at AMLI River North for the past 3 years. Overall it has been a good experience, but it's time for me to move on.

Pros:
-Spacious floor plans
-Awesome amenities
-Prompt and helpful service team, doormen and leasing office
-Convenient location
-High quality appliances and finishes
-High ceilings
-Nice views if you're high enough up

Cons:
-Shoddy drywall work in my unit (construction seems like it was rushed)
-Cheap feeling flooring in unit
-Noise! Will elaborate below
-There are quite a few obnoxious noisy party-goers living here, as would be expected due to the location

The main reason I'll be moving out soon is the noise and immediate surroundings. At first I thought it was kind of exciting living in this location, right near so many trendy restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. But over the years it's grown tiresome. Hubbard street at night becomes total chaos during the seasonable months with constant horns honking, people shouting, thumping bass music, idiots revving their engines to extreme decibels, and fire trucks blaring (there's a fire station one block away).

I'm on floor 29 out of 50 and I imagine the noise would be slightly better on a higher floor, but not significantly. Oh, and Te-Jays Adult Bookstore is right next door (check the Yelp reviews if you want to know more, but it's a porn shop with glory holes) so it brings some real characters to the street directly outside your luxury building.

I'll be looking for a quieter building to live in, but if you don't mind the potential noise issues, AMLI RN is hard to beat.

I came here to visit my bf during my first-ever visit to Chicago. He needed temporary accommodations and was able to get a furnished junior studio apartment here month-to-month. So this review is only based on a single visit, and I can't comment on anything else at this point.

I was wondering if a junior studio would be really cramped, but it actually looked really nice and spacious inside--perfect for one person. All his furnishings were from IKEA, but I think it was nicely and tastefully done. The only negative thing is that he's 6'3" and is too tall to fit into the queen-sized bed comfortably. I guess his feet hit the bed frame at the end of the bed when he was lying down straight. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower was a little bit weak.

But the shared rooftop terrace was awesome, and we brought some food and drinks out to the lounge chairs to have a small picnic in front of the fire pit early one evening while gazing at the beautiful sunset between the city skyscrapers. Gym facilities looked nice and spacious, too, although I didn't get a chance to use it. The swimming pool area looked beautiful, but too bad there's no hot tub.

The staff at the front desk were all super nice and friendly, and it's manned 24x7. The building is lovely, inside and out, and in a great location. It's really pricey, but you do get what you pay for. Great amenities and very pleasant to stay here.

I do have one small (slightly embarrassing) comment for the staff here: Please provide cups or put a sign at the Starbucks coffee machine in the common area to state that you need to bring your own cup. For some reason, I thought the machine would dispense cups, so I pressed the button and ended up with coffee spilling all over the floor! I felt so bad for the staff that had to clean it up later; but I had no idea it would do that... so sorry about that.

A great place to live! The management, door staff and maintenance crews are wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Maintenance issues are attended to immediately and the building is impeccably cleaned and maintained. The management is very responsive and helpful and really nice to work with.

It is a beautiful building with fantastic amenities. The Gym is gorgeous! There is a theatre room and beautiful common spaces with large TV's, beautiful furnishings and a kitchen area. The pool is comparable to any resort pool area. I have been to very expensive hotels and resorts where the pool area was not nearly as nice.

I am a real estate broker so I know the inventory of city rentals. This building has the best pool area in the city in my opinion. There are Cabanas, grills, dining tables, lounge chairs, fire pits and even games.

On the pool level there is also a dog park area complete with "grass" and a red fire hydrant. This is great for the buildings dog owners. They do not have to go all the way down to the street level for all bathroom breaks. This is also kept impeccably clean. Never once have I smelled any odor, even in the hot summer months.

I had both back and hand surgery this year and the door, management and maintenance crew were so kind and helpful. The very wonderful woman who runs the dry cleaners would carry my cleaning to my apt for me. The door staff made sure I never had to open a door or struggle with packages or bags etc. They were so very kind. They always ask how I am doing and treat my son and visitors wonderfully.

It is not the least expensive building by far but it us worth every dollar in my opinion.
