Amici Pizza II

Lots of cheese but skimpy on the toppings. I ordered a Hawaiian and there was very little ham and almost no pineapple.

Good NY style pizza and my favorite meatball subs in the area! A go to place for our family for years.

How do I put this? Horrible customer service skills by the person answering the phone!!! I tried calling in a deliver order and clearly the guy who answered the phone was ridiculously distracted. He asked the question "take out or delivery?) three different times and just couldn't understand that we wanted a delivery. It got worse from there. I had to repeat my order FOUR TIMES. It was a simple order, a pizza & an Italian sub that we wanted baked instead of cold. He didn't know what the word "baked" meant.

Finally got past that & gave him my credit card number. At the end of it, once again he asked, "can you repeat that?". When I asked "which part?" He answered, "the whole thing". I could understand his inability to hear if there was a lot of background noise, but there wasn't! Or if I had an accent maybe but I don't. I asked to speak to someone else who would better be able to hear or understand me. He flat out said "no"!!! I ask his name & he responded "what is YOUR name?".

Honestly the rudeness and total lack of customer service skills was one of the worst I've ever experienced! Can't report him because the guy refused to give his name. Considering we order pizza once a week, they have now lost a loyal & steady customer. We won't be calling back...ever!

We regularly order pizza from Amici's II but tonight they failed terribly. We found a larger splinter of wood baked into the pizza!!! We called them not for compensation but to just let them know. HOWEVER, they took no responsibility!! The blamed everyone else! They blamed grub hub. They actually, ACTUALLY, said it was probably oregano! Even after we explained the gravity of the situation and how this nearly choked my guest! The DID NOT CARE!

Do NOT BUY FROM A BUSINESS THAT TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY!!
It's sad because their pizza was actually tolerable but it's not worth terrible customer service and unsanitary cooking practices

Great place for take out food but if you don't like potato salad on your Greek salad (like me) be sure to check it before you leave the establishment.
i ordered a Greek salad a few weeks ago and requested to have it on the side but when I got home it was smack dab in the middle of the salad.
fast forward to tonight- at 5;30 pm I called and requested the large Greek salad with potato salad on the side but before leaving the counter I asked for the woman to check to be sure my order was made as requested and low and behold there it was again smack dab in the middle of the salad.
So in summary-food is great but staff on the phone needs to listen to customers requests when placing their orders.

We are snow birds and spend a few months in the area and have enjoyed Amici Pizza in the past.
Yesterday after a long 3 day trip we figured we would get a pizza from a place that has always been good.
Not this time the toppings seemed overcooked, the cheese was runny and the crust was burnt.
Probably won't be back.

I wondered why I didn't review this on my last trip. Again I went in and purchased a slice not waiting for it. Person did not wash hands and put cold slice in the palm of his hand. This reminded me of November 2021 my last trip. Same situation. Not going to try again. So two times ordered and paid for and left with nothing.

Ok, it finally happened....
It HAD to happen eventually....

Someone new in New Port Richey (or new to us) got it right...

My regular place didn't pick up after 7 rings and I had passed this place at some point saying "The Traveling Pizza Snob needs to stop in and test a slice.... It's what I do, after all

So I dialed, ordered the usual (Cheese Pizza/Greek Salad) and was told an hour. I was surprised when it got to me within 15 minutes

BEST pizza in New Port Richey which you all know means, "Best pizza south of Islip, Long Island.....
The salad was out friggin standing...

My "pizza snobby" wife, and my equally snobby 92 year old mother both agree with me.... We found our new "Go To"

The Traveling Pizza Snob

Decided to try this place for the first time The pizza was horrible.not cooked very oily had zero flavor.

Their pizza is very good. Everything else is not!. They put very little effort into most menu items.

My wife and I became ill the following morning after eating a large pepperoni the night before. I called and spoke to an employee and she apologized, however she did not ask how to make it right. I wish I read the health inspection for 12/31/2021 too.
