Another activity draining the life out me during the weekends... Basketball!
The facility however I can't knock as it's got 4 basketball courts and I think 2 or 3 indoor soccer fields. It's got AC, plenty of bench seating and is wide open. They host volleyball, basketball, soccer, football and probably more that I don't know of. Only issue for me was the gravel parking lot with limited to no lighting.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Helen C.San Francisco, CA05Apr 26, 2024

It can be beneficial to monitor someone closely in order to dispel any uncertainties. Nevertheless, engaging in surveillance may yield favorable outcomes. An individual is ultimately at your discretion. Feel free to proceed as you see fit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kayla M.Goodyear, AZ6708045Apr 17, 2022
I'm skeptical about this place. I think it could be great and maybe is for some people but my experience the past couple of months of trying this place out for my 2.5 year old son has been a waste of money.
We signed him up for a soccer class that's parents and kids and in his age group. Every Saturday there would only be him and one other kid + parent. The coach would say because it's only them, they would join a different class. The different class is much older kids and absolutely huge. At least 15 kids. Personally, the younger kids would do great when it was just them and their parents. The second the coach would make them join the other class they would get intimidated and overrun but the older kids so they wouldn't want to play or be involved.
When we would tell the coach we would prefer to stay just us and not join the other group for the reasons I explained, she would make it seem like it wasn't that serious and have us join anyways. When with the other group, she wouldn't even pay attention to or interact with the 2 kids she was supposed to be coaching. She'd hang out with the staff or mess around with the older kids. I'm not sure if she just is uncomfortable with younger kids or didn't want to coach them but regardless it hasn't been a good experience and has been a waste of money in my opinion. Maybe we will try again when he's older but as of right now we aren't doing another season.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erik N.Surprise, AZ717Jul 15, 2022
Indoor soccer for my son. Busy place during summer months. Great place for extra practice.

We came from Las Vegas to play in a basketball tournament here and I loved the gym. 4 Basketball Courts, plenty of seating, air conditioning and the Best Park is the have a full concession stand. My boys order the nachos and fries. It's nice to have the opportunity to order food at these tournaments because usually the tournament days can be long and it's nice not having to leave to go get food. The gym was very clean and all the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Residence Inn Phoenix West/Avondale which is walking distance from the gym. We could actually see it from our hotel room. There are actually 3 hotels within walking distance of the gym which is very convenient. If we have another tournament in Arizona I hope we play at this gym again.

Awful. My boyfriend had a soccer game here his name was on the list. He named multiple players on the list that he knew and because he didn't know the coaches name the lady made us wait outside in pouring rain... Absolutely ridiculous. Not helpful seemed like they didn't know what they were doing.

Top-Notch Facility-- An Avondale Gem
The Randall McDaniel complex is a sport center owned by the City of Avondale and run by American Sports Centers. It's a great facility for basketball, volleyball, and soccer events-- big, modern, clean, and attractive. There are also some meeting rooms to the side that I've attended events at.
Getting court time during work hours on weekdays is usually easy. Weekends are full of tournaments with masses of kids and adults, so not a good time to swing by for a pick-up game. (Except Superbowl weekend, it seems.) I've also seen regional and national events listed at ASC-- NCAA championship qualifiers, club sports championships, etc-- that last around a week.
Cool to have this kind of facility in the West Valley and a fun visit.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Amanda R.Goodyear, AZ0209Sep 19, 2019
Great complex for youth sports, the only setback is that they allow kids way younger than the age brackets to play in divisions. We have 8 year olds (beginners no experience) playing in the 10-12 bracket because there wasn't room in the 8-9 bracket. I get they want their $$ and just allow for whatever, but it's frustrating to a parent who's child is held back because of the age and lack of skill. Playing up an age should only be allowed with the skills needed to play the game.
