Our A/C unit stopped working yesterday so we started to call around for repair service. Since it was late at night when we discovered the problem we called those "anytime" people but they could not come out for 2 days or so (how is that 'anytime' service?). So the next day after calling about 5 other places that said 2 days to a week wait I called American Plumbing Heating and A/C. They were very friendly on the phone and they said they would be able to come out in 1-2 hours. About 1 hour later I saw the truck pull in and they gave me a call. The Service tech was Nick C. He was very nice and worked on the unit outside and explained the situation clearly. He had to access the FAU which my landlord had boarded up with wood, plaster and stripped screws. He quickly accessed the unit and discovered it had no power. The fuse box had power to all circuits but the FAU had no power. So unfortunately we need an electrician now to solve lack of power. While he was not able to get the unit to work he was extremely fast, punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this company and will be calling the soon to fix a leak that has need attention. Also since he was unable to get it running he did NOT charge me for the visit.
