We came here from California to go to this pawn shop. My husband is a huge fan of the show. This place is pretty big and they have so much. What I loved is they had so much jewelry and they do not over price. They even had a motorcycle for $10k. The service here is over the top. Everyone is nice and patient. I never once felt rushed. I lived that the name brand purses they kept all the brand together and they were very reasonably priced. If you're in to high name brands this is a great place to visit. This is a real pawn shop I saw people trading on things. We saw Seth on the actual floor working. I asked if my if my husband could take a picture and he said yes. So I went off to buy four pieces of jewelry that was $100 you're not getting that anywhere else. Seth actually went to go look for us to take the picture talk about going above and beyond. He was so nice and we really appreciated that. We also saw his dad Mr Les and he to took a picture with us. If you're in the area you have to come here highly recommend.

I feel these guys were out to just make a buck. They don't really care about the situaiton or anything like that. The place is pretty big and sometimes they ahve a good selection. I try and avoid this specific location whenever possible though. Would not recommend this palce at all.

This guy will screw you over any way he can. He literally asked me, "How am I supposed to make a profit on that?" like it was MY job to figure out.

It's everything you'd expect from a 8 Mile Garbage Pawn Shop.

You guys are a bunch of rip offs. You could've gone cheaper or lower for the massage table and you offered 50 bucks and you could've gone lower you said? Y'all are pieces of shit and do nothing but a disservice to the community. you guys say you could've gone lower on the table and sold it for 200 and bought it for 50. Freaking trash and your daughter looks like a mummy that should've been unwrapped thousand years ago.

We were in the Detroit area, and we decided to stop at the infamous Hardcore Pawn AKA American Jewelry and Loan. Besides, I had to find something for the wife's birthday.

Well, they have just about everything in there store, and one of their top salesperson, Tony was kind enough to make several suggestions.

What was really cool, was when Tony brought out Les Gold, and he asked him to autograph the case for the earrings that I purchased the wife.

As a Deaf customer, I'll add that Tony and Les make direct eye contact, which makes it easy to lip read, and no, not all Deaf people can lip read.

One star for their longevity. Big zero otw. Plus warning to pawn loan customers. Thief clerk's slight of hand and my naive trust in this business cost me my best $$$$ ring in 2018. Dismissive, hostile service, no recourse. Filed a police report...futile, only option of course. Ring never recovered.

Les is goated. Workers are cool also. Got a picture and signature from him and enjoyed the visit

Went to jewelry counter...Waited...And waited...And waited...Man at counter waited on his girlfriend and waited...Never greeted...Waited...Ten minutes later blond woman shows up tells me she'll be right back...Waited again. Never returned...Never got waited on...
