Brigitte's class here brings the wonderful practice of yoga to anyone. She has a very loving approach to the class that leaves me feeling wonderful every time. The facility itself is also quite beautiful and well equipped. All the yoga tools you might need (mats, bricks, straps) are provided and while there may be other events going on in the general area, it's never seemed too distracting to me. If you're at all interested in exploring Yoga, this is THE class I'd go check out.
The other instructors here are also really great. If you have kids, bring them to Traci's kid yoga class, a very loving, unique opportunity here on the island. -

I tried Aloha Yoga Kula for my first time tonight at the Aikahi studio.....this certainly will not be my last! (It might help for them to post a small sign in the grass that directs new comers: "Aloha Yoga Kula this way.")
Once I arrived, there was plenty of parking. I was greeted with a warm welcome from a friendly instructor named Maria. I was impressed with the studio. It is absolutely tranquil and beautiful. "AYK" has complimentary mats, many props such as blocks, straps, and blankets that are also available to use. Another bonus is that unlike other studios, you don't have to buy a pack of classes in order to make Yoga affordable. Each class suggests a $10 donation which is more than reasonable.
Brigitte (the Mon 7-8:30 Vinyasa instructor) arrived several minutes later. She is fabulous! Brigitte uses several cues that just like a good soccer coach, make you want to stretch further, breath more fully, and ease into the beauty of Yoga. I especially liked the snippets of motivation from a particular book (didn't catch the name) The combination of deep hip openers, inversions, and a wall savasana were magical. If only I lived on the Windward side, I would practice here on a daily basis!
Love & light encompasses this little studio and a pure sense of community is apparent. -

Aloha Yoga Kula is amazing. I recently took a class from Martin, it was way beyond what I expected. He is a great teacher, his adjustments are gentle and very effective, and he has the perfect balance between humor and meditative qualities. One of the things I appreciated the most were the moments of stillness between the asanas. It really helps you feel the effectiveness of the yoga, and gets you into a very meditative state. I would give it ten stars if I could. Awesome place, great teacher!

Love it, Doin' it, and Can't wait to return! Martin is my favorite yoga instructor and I can't seem to miss my weekly vinyasa yoga here, no matter what comes my way! Simply, nirvana...found!

Class with Brigitte is way beyond yoga.This generous teacher is so right-on with her adjustments and ability to connect to every person in the class... no matter what 'level.' I started visiting her beginning class after a car accident messed up the body. Went from unable to lift my hands up over my head to pre-accident movement and way beyond pretty rapidly. The yoga helped the chiropractic work 'stick' and made recovery happen quickly. Highly recommend classes with Brigitte, Martin and Heidi. Am sure others teachers are equally awesome... just haven't had the honor... yet.

I would like to first admit I am no long term yogite...
This is an amazing site, behind a church near aikahi park.
There are classes every day except Sunday.

Brigitte's class is quite often the best part of my day. She's gentle, challenging, and inspiring. Also, the actual space contributes to the joy of practicing here. The class looks out on a courtyard of plumeria trees. The studio is airy and peaceful. There are rooms on either side for community gathering and it can be loud sometimes but it doesn't matter. At $10 a class it's an amazing amazing deal--which I think is in the true spirit of yoga.
Also Martin's class is really great too. -

This place is amazing. I have been to classes with Heidi, Cherie, and Grace and they have all been fantastic. Very, very welcoming. I am still pretty new to Yoga and I have felt incredible after every class here. All equipment is provided and the classes are only $10. I haven't been to any other studios on Oahu, and am not sure that I will considering that I found this gem so close to my house! I would definitely recommend to anyone, old or young, new or expert to yoga.

I finally got around to trying yoga. I absolutely love it! So different from traditional "exercise" and so refreshing. I have enjoyed every single class and I think every instructor is awesome.

Amazing!! I am new at yoga and went to the gentle yoga class, Brigette was the instructor , She was wonderful , and also used aromatherapy in her class. I cant wait to go again.Mahalo !

Whenever I visit the islands from California, my spiritual connection to the islands is not complete unless I take yoga classes at Aloha Kula Yoga. The location is convenient...near Aikahi Park. The studio is very clean, spacious, and peaceful. It has nice courtyard location with fresh breezes and views of the plumeria trees. The instructors are some of the best that I've had. They really know how to teach and inspire with their movements, visual instruction, and spiritual words. With their assistance, I got to feel what a headstands and backbends should feel like. I love the fact that they are in tune with their students.
