No one better in the business than Bill and Teresa White. We had a strong working relationship, it fell through for things out of my control.

I've been a customer of this company, at this location for over 25 years. In the past this organization was first class. Great service and a very attentive staff. I was happy to give my business to Allstate.
In 2020 something drastically changed. Since September I have placed multiple calls to the Allstate in Danville and have never had one single call returned. I sold a house and needed to cancel the policy and never received a call back. Made several attempts and no response. I don't really understand why no one answers the telephone anymore. It's like they are closed and don't care about their customers. Needless to say the policy renewed automatically and I was charged for a policy for a home I no longer own. Not a great customer experience but I'm sure they do not care at all.
I bought a new house in December and made several attempts to get a quote for a new policy and again no calls returned. I eventually spoke to someone named Breanne who told me someone would call me back to give me a quote. Again, no one ever called back.
I completely understand the complications of running a business during the challenges of COVID-19, but what I cannot understand is how customer calls can go unacknowledged for months and absolutely no attention paid to customers trying to conduct business.
Absolutely no customer service here. It is a mystery whether this office is even still in business.
Absolutely deplorable customer experiences.

After writing this review, I heard from Bill White from Allstate in Danville.
Bill offered a sincere apology for the service received and an explanation of some difficult times in delivering their regular exemplary service.

We have had quite a difficult time navigating 2020 and appreciate a great client making observations. When we make a mistake, we own it and when we can correct something we are happy too. I have personally reached out to this client to correct, update and go forward. A kind word in the summary made my day!

The team is responsive, period.
This company cares from quote to claim.
Their follow thru is relentless.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS OWNER....never returns calls unless they want money
I auto pay my insurance so that i am never late. I moved from Seattle to the Bay Area and wanted to transfer down my account (seattle allstate wasnt much better). Seemed simple enough. Except that AllState, evertime you call, they never listen to a thing you say, they just want money. Now I have called 4x and left messages with no one returning my call because the DMV is sending me notices of intent to suspend my registration because they do not have proof of insurance. What is the point of using AllState when they dont do a thing for you. This is not our client. His Agent is in Seattle, Washington, not California. We do not transfer accounts and he didn't come to our office. We contacted him anyway and he didn't understand billing. Yelp administration would not take down post. (See below response) Give our office a call and you will find us to be responsive, friendly and helpful!

I ha e been with Allstate for 16 years. Bill took it over and has done a great job! Anytime I have a question he gets back to me and put a little input just Incase I had forgotten anything. He makes insurance easy‼

If I could rate negative stars I would, I had to call for 14 days strait before I could get an answer about my insurance that only needed to be renewed. Theresa does not return calls, she is never in the office and she finally got around to calling me back, the rate was increased by double from one year to the other. She blamed it on the underwriters and I do have expertise in this area, a good agent can step up and clarify and or reason with an underwriter when it makes sense. Note that there were no changes or claims. Poor service would be a compliment. They should be reported to the BBB for incompetence. I ended up getting a policy from another agency and it was $172 for liability (fitness instructor), Allstate's rate was $500, last year it was $225.

Thank you for your feedback. We work very hard in our agency to please our customers and provide an excellent level of service. We have an amazing staff of licensed professionals in the office at all times to meet the needs of our clients because we can not answer every call ourselves. Unfortunately, prices do change according to risks which is out of our control. We do not have the ability to manipulate premiums.

Bill and Teresa White and their team at Allstate are great! They handle both our personal and business insurance because they offered better coverage at lower rates. They went the extra mile to service us. And they keep in touch. We're more than an account to them. They're always looking for ways to give us better coverage. That's the kind of insurance agent to have!

Teresa and Bill both helped me navigate a very complex process to get great coverage for disability insurance because I work for multiple employers. I first tried with other agents highly recommended, but they could not get me near the package Teresa worked so hard to get. The office has always answered or returned my calls with any questions. Great experience for sure.

BAD BUSINESS.....I was a client of this agency for over a decade. It was a very frustrating time. I would call, and be told that Bill or his wife were not available, but wouldn't get a call back. So, I would call and call and call. Eventually I would be able to talk to them, but what a hassle. I don't want to deal with a business who I have to basically beg to take care of business. Do you? The 5-star reviews for this business are also very suspicious to me, and should be to you. If you don't know this already, let me tell you, there are ways to game the Yelp review process. It's an offense to the Yelp community, but I firmly believe it is happening here. It is highly improbable, based on my experience with this company, that a four and one half star overall rating came about without manipulation of some kind. One thing I know for certain is that this agency aggressively attacks Yelpers who post less than favorable reviews. OK, there it is, my contribution for today to the Yelp Community. If you let William White trick you, shame on you.

Dear Yelpers, We are very sorry Mr. Keith C. had a bad experience. Our office tries to give excellent service everyday, however we can fail. I don't know of a single business that doesn't. We are accused of "gaming" the Yelp system which is the very thing Mr "C." did here. His prior review was stricken from Yelp because of hateful speech so he sent another. Isn't that "Gaming"? We couldn't help Mr C. I do work on my reputation and we earn every single review, positive or negative. As a business owner I use the feedback to improve.
Here is what I've done to improve. #1) Monitor every single call and the time it takes to contact the client. #2) Ask for a review at point of service, if we don't get something right, we can fix it quickly. #3) I am personally going to be a supporter of other business when I visit them and make positive suggestions to be helpful so they can be successful too. Thank-you Mr C. for giving me the motivation to respond and find ways to improve.
