Nathan was great about working out a problem with Allstate but Allstate was not. Nathan will do a lot to help you and really go out of his way to help you.

Was content with the services provided until as of recent. Not sure if it has anything to do with the recent change in ownership but I'd look elsewhere for your insurance needs.

To your point regarding change of ownership, I am not sure what you mean by that? Our company has been in practice since 1976. You may have been referencing acquisitions in 2019 or 2020, but there is nothing more recent than that.

Ever since my agent Lance left and this guy took over it just wasn't the same. Now that I have canceled my last policy with him he was not super helpful at the end at all and frankly he was not that helpful during my time working with him. I'm sure he's not the worst and he wasn't horrible but he just wasn't great. He just didn't seem to care as much as my old agent Lance cared, and as much as my new Farmer's agent cares, so I do have something to reference him against. The other agents were friendly and outgoing and helpful,. And again at the end he was just kind of rude today and that's what motivated me to write this review. Sorry it turned out that way, but he just was not very nice and deserves someone to know it besides me.

I've been with this agency since 2008 when Lance Hale owned this insurance agency. Anytime I had an issue Lance or his representatives were on point and handled and fixed everything efficiently, fast forward to April or so of 2020, Lance Hale sold the agency to Nathan Giddings. I'll be brief on that encounter since eventually Nathan Giddings had to get involved to fix the issue after his reps dropped the ball during this transition on my mortgage insurance policy and I ended up having to get new policies and pay more money since my previous policy lapsed because of pictures that needed to be uploaded I found out that were never uploaded and by someone from his agency actually got involved it was too late. He aplogized, explained the situation and I accepted it paid more for my new policy and moved on. Well here we are again two years later that same policy or should I say policies since the only way to get something comparable from the policy that I had previously two years before then was to get two seperate polices I was told in 2020 once again one ended up lapsing even though I had an impound account with my mortgage company, When I called the insurance policy they said that they had notified my agent and mortgage company of non payment, guess what my mortgage company does, they forced a policy on my loan, when I called Leticia at Nathan Giddings insurance company she said they never received a notice but would fix it. Her interpretation of fixing it was to get me a new policy instead of having the two previous policies and even though I had one of the previous two policies in effect I was forced to pay my mortgage company for a month of insurance and also paid the one of the two policies for that time frame as well. Leticia apologized but said that even though I did have insurance that she tried debating that with my mortgage company but wouldn't accept it. So I would have to pay the mortgage companies forced insurance for that month. Now to my auto policy I sold my 2014 Honda Civic that had been on my policy since 2017. replaced it with a 2022 Toyota Camry in June 2022 somewhere along the line the purchase order was suppsoed to get sent over to my insurance agency and wether that was the dealerships fault or agents it was never processed, hence why I do everything online now so theres a time stamp, my vehicle was finally replaced in October 2022 when I went online and made the request. A month later I start getting letters from my financial institution requesting proof of insurance for that time frame, or that I would need to pay almost $3,000 for that time frame and my monthly payment would increase, alomst double from $320 a month to over $600 a month to pay for this added coverage, I reach out to Leticia at Allstate and to make a long story short, she says can't help me fix this as shes only allowed 30 days, I ask her if she can call corporate or someone as I essentially did have full coverage insurance but I was paying the premium on the wrong vehicle (2014 Honda Civic) instead of the 2022 Toyota Camry and can provide proof and she essentailly once again tells me she can't help other than verify that I would have had insurance coverga over th phone but could not generate a updated policy, the financial institution calls Leticia today and she states no I didn't have coverage. So now they (financial institution) enforced the policy they added and hit my credit for being short on my last two payments and now are reporting being late on my payments, keep in mind I have never been late on any payments in 20 years and am or was should I say a 800 credit score. I've asked Leticia to have Nathan Giddings call me as she seems annoyed or in no position to even want to help at this point and seems to think that everything from the money I had to pay on my mortagage insurance lapse and now this $3,000 forced insurance, late payments reporting and the $1,200 I paid in policy premium for the 6 months in question on a 2014 Honda Civic I no longer had grows on trees. I am now waiting for Nathan or someone higher than Leticia to call me back as let her know I no longer wanted to deal with her and needed somone above her.

Please do not go with this guy. He sold me Allstate home owners insurance and then it became bamboo insurance. I am reporting him to the department of insurance and I'm going to call Allstate to let them know. Worst part is I cancel my insurance and never got a refund.
I have several emails asking for my money back and nothing.
This is unprofessional I am leaving this honest review to everywhere and reporting him to the BBB.

I never write reviews BUT in this case I wanted to warn other people from this horrendous insurance agency-Giddings Ins Agency (Allstate). Back in December 2021 I had my 1996 Toyota Corolla salvaged, I turned in the Bill of Sale receipt to their office signed some forms and I went on my merry way. Now, ( June 24th, 2022) almost 7 months later they never removed the car and are STILL charging me the $459.08. Wow. The only reason I found out they were charging me is because this company only sends out the "declarations" every 6 months, meaning the specifics of the bill as to what cars are in the policy. I've called them various times, they did inform me that they will NOT be refunding me my money back to me but POSSIBLY crediting my policy. And that is only if it is approved by 'the underwriting department' ....?... Also the receptionists at this office is very negligent, wouldn't even listen to my concern. Please stay away from this company and save yourselves some headaches.

this office blows! its taken 2 weeks to get coverage on our new car and we still dont have it. the finance company is asking for the car back if we dont show proof of coverage. allstate canceled my policy without telling me. I went 30 days without insurance and didnt even know it. screw this location. screw the staff. terrible arse customer service. good hands my arse

Nathan Giddings is an absolute perfect Allstate agent. He and his whole staff are not only knowledgeable about insurance but are more than willing to find the best insurance to meet my needs. This office has been diligent about keeping me informed about important changes that may impact my need for more or less insurance. I totally trust Nathan and his "crew to keep my home and auto safe! If you need insurance, then you need to call Nathan at Allstate!

From the first call I made I was comfortable with the rep who answered the phone. I went in and the service was just as it was on the phone. The rep looked for all possible discounts, she saved us money and provided us with more insurance. If ever I have a need for other insurance besides auto I will start here first. I really like the fact that I can go in and speak to a person and not have to do everything online or on the phone.

Luann offers excellent, personalized service! She always works to ensure I am paying the lowest price and have the best coverage. We have full coverage on our vehicles and home. Nathan provided quotes on life insurance and did was not pushy afterwards about purchasing. He left us with the information until we were ready to move forward. Love this office.
