In multiple visits here witnessed only Superstar Service from an entire Team who love their jobs. Well done Alina. Thank You for the kind of service a daughter, sibling and aunt expects living in a very large medical family. Your dedication is commendable. Mae

Please look elsewhere! This place will scam you on your bill and its legal.
On 5/13 I saw Dr. Timothy Savageau for a routine eye exam. This was by far the most rushed eye exam I've ever had, he got seemingly annoyed that I asked him to go back a slide a few times. Dr. S also charged me for a contact fitting after he told me he did not need to see me wear the contacts (i was wearing glasses at the exam) and that he would just use my previous RX contact measurements for the new RX. After checkout, I was told I still had to pay the additional $45 fitting fee, although no fitting procedure was actually completed, and no contacts worn.
Long story short, this place will run you around the bush to NOT tell you how MUCH MONEY something costs. I had to speak with THREE different departments to get a quote on this eye exam and each one told me "we don't give quotes over the phone", or "price depends on your insurance" (I told them I DO NOT have eye insurance), and the final request, I was told at the time of the appointment they could not give me a price quote FOR A SIMPLE EYE EXAM, and that they would have to get someone from the billing department to meet with me AFTER the exam if I wished.
As I was getting seemingly annoyed with the work around, the receptionist at the optometry desk told me out the door, i'm looking about $200. I said THANK YOU. That's all I needed to know.
One week later, I received a bill for $381.00. I have never paid more than $200 for an eye exam, especially for the low quality Doctor and visit I received at Allina. No way I would pay a premium to go to this place.
I called customer service and billing at Allina to discuss the charges and was basically told I have no option but to pay WHATEVER price they want to charge.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND: This is where they get you here. They make it so unbelievably complicated to get ANY kind of price quote, so that in the end, they assume you're defeated over asking for a price. They now can LEGALLY charge you whatever they want and you are forced to pay it.
That is our medical system now... So I hope that in my frustration, as I pay this crazy high bill, I can at least share this story to help others making the mistake of visiting Allina Health. You're literally better off going to a CVS clinic or Target.
BUT, If you ARE going to go to Allina, make them give you "In writing" a price quote prior to your visit. It has to be physically in writing for Billing to acknowledge the price difference (per their billing department). Keep asking, jump through the hoops, decline all of the "we cant give prices" B.S. and make sure you have it in writing how much they are going to steal from you before you walk in.
For those looking for a basic EYE EXAM. I'll help you out and comment my bill as of 5/84/2019.

Most unprofessional, condescending, rude, pretentious health care "professionals" that I have ever met, and attempted to get health care from!
I moved down here 3 months ago and this was the closest clinic, and originally met Amanda Everhart. What was supposed to be a 25 minute appointment over something serious, turned into literally 3 minutes of her blowing me off, and saying "well there's nothing I can do for you", and walks out.
Ok, I thought. Every clinic and hospital has that one provider that isn't the greatest. I went and got my serious issue taken care of elsewhere, and came back for a follow up, and seen a different provider by the name of Dr. Utech.
She is nice, and tends to listen to her patients it seems like, but trying to get an appointment with her is a nightmare. She wasn't available one time when I needed a follow up from being in the hospital, and I made an appointment with the nurse practitioner Jessica Gallagher who adamantly refused to see me, because my issue needed to be followed up by the specialist which I knew, but I still needed to be seen for being in the hospital! I saved the voicemail, and turned it in, because she was not by law supposed to refuse my in hospital follow up visit. Fast forward, I get multiple blood clots in my lungs, and meet Dr. Oetken. She's also nice, but rushes me out and refuses to help with the pain from the blood clots in my lungs, even although I can't take ibuprofen or any NSAID for that matter, and the Tylenol isn't helping at all, and the in hospital doctor said I could be dealing with this pain and difficulty breathing for up to 6 weeks. I walked out feeling more pushed aside with my health than I have ever felt. I will NOT be returning back to this clinic. Every provider here treats their patients like a number, and the one provider that was half decent I can hardly ever get into.
If your looking for a primary clinic that wants to build a relationship with their patients, and treats them like a person, then I advise you NOT to come here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Birdy S.San Francisco, CA03Apr 25, 2018
This doctors office in particular is horrible. They do not follow through. I was seen by female Doctor she treated me so bad like I was a piece of garbage . I believe she feels entitled and shame on her. No heart.

I recently forgot to bring extra contact lens along on a trip. A man in their optical department (sorry, I don't recall his name), went above and beyond to assist me in getting lens quickly. I appreciate his service!
