Amazing and polite staff. They made multiple accommodations throughout the process to make the whole experience as pleasant as possible.
Get ready... these guys get right to work and waste no time. It helps, seeing that no one enjoys moving.
I am not used to seeing this level of service nowadays. I was really blown away and would highly recommend to anyone considering hiring movers.

Let me start by saying I have moved multiple times and used moving companies everytime without issue....until now.

First my broker company lied about the delivery time so that's one thing that went wrong at first. We paid for economy moving apparently which gave them 1-24 days to deliver. On day 20 I am told the truck my things are on is broken down in Salina Kansas. Two days later I get a call from the owner saying my things were never loaded on the truck.....they had forgotten them in the Pacific northwest.

So now que the horror story.

Owner says he is flying to Seattle to verify my things are safe and get them coming to me(a lie). 3 weeks later my things are finally on the way here with delivery guaranteed in 4 days, a week later my things finally arrive after the driver kept only driving 3 hours in a day. Day of delivery My furniture is all practically destroyed, my 6 months old daughters brand new Graco crib is busted and scratched to an unbelievable state. Our sons dresser apparently sat in water and the wood swelled, all televisions broken, pieces missing so far to several beds. And to top it off the driver Ken showed up drunk as a skunk, when confronted about it he ran out the door threw the rest of our stuff in the driveway and proceeded to attempt to hit me with the truck. Long story short this company has been the worst company I have ever moved with.

Do not under any circumstances use these movers. They are incompetent, sloppy and dangerous to your property. They don't pack logically, they lose stuff, they just want to rush through and go home. They are THE WORST! Ask any one at Manor At cloppers Milll about their moves when the renovations took place...

If a negative star review would be possible I'd select it!
The arrogance of mishandling residents information to misrepresentation to misconduct to thievery to damaging property are the negligent factors to not use or conduct any business with this company!
There representation from on-site staff to movers/handlers to upper management are rude, deceptive and unprofessional to add lack mindfulness of time, collectibles and antiques.
Examples of thefts entire liquor stock of bar, deep freezer, smoker/grill, iPhones, laptops, just naming a few. Examples of damaged property leather-sectional, antique Italian curio cabinets, solid oak dining room table etc.
If having no regards for your fine pieces then they'd be a chaotic mess of a fit!

I hate that I have to write this review. I reached out to this company on 3 separate occasions and by 2 forms of communication for a corporate move. I initially placed an email inquiry on their website. When I noticed, after about 2 days, that I didn't get a response, I decided to call. The young lady that answered the phone was snappy. I gave her my name and told her why I was calling. Before I could get it all out she replied "yeah we got your request online. We will check out availability and respond to you". I give concessions because we all have our off days. I heard nothing for about a week so I called back. Still, no pleasantries. This time I asked for whomever does the scheduling. I was transferred to a gentleman whom appeared more pleasant and eager to help. He gave me his email address and requested an inventory list. Told me that he would take a look over it and give me a quote either the same day or next day. I waited 3 days and then followed up via email since I had received no response. I then waited 2 more days and decided to call back. When I called I was told the gentleman was out to lunch. The lady that answered the phone offered no form of supplementary assistance, or to even take a message and have the gentleman call me back. She simply stated "you will have to try back in about 45 minutes". I was really hopeful but this company let me down big time. I really wanted to give them my business.

I really hope you guys see this review and pull it together.

If you are looking for a moving and storage company, you should absolutely call Allen and Son. From the on-site estimate to the first moving day, the team was outstanding! They are storing my things until I move in another month. I have no doubt I'll have the same experience. The level of service was TOP NOTCH. Thank you to Mr. Robert, Allison, Mrs. V, Nigel, Pete, Mr. Reggie and "Beast" (when you see this man in action, you'll know why they call him that!) You all are the BEST! I love how well everyone works together. I look forward to working with you all again next month!

We needed a mover quickly and they assured me they had the manpower to help. The whole process was easy and professional from the confirmation the night before to them arriving exactly on time. They needed to maneuver their truck through a tricky driveway and they handled that issue great. They started packing immediately and took care of all the heavy lifting for us. I'm glad I hired this company and I was very impressed with the friendly team that helped us on our move.

Very organized and professional company. 4 men came and were all very nice, and got to work moving right away. Great team work and I will definitely use this moving company again! Thanks for doing such a great job Allen & Son!!

Excellent, efficient, courteous service. They accidentally damaged one piece of furniture but quickly called it to my attention and assured me it would be repaired. I would happily use them again.

What amazing team of men! I moved from Baltimore to landover. I thought I was going to be an all day process and it wasn't. They were efficient, friendly, respectful and kept me informed of how the process worked as this was my first move professionally. Man man was like my best friend for the day! I will definitely use them again Thank you so much!
