All Service Plumbing

I needed a replacement of my failing hot water recirculating pump. I called All Service and one of its plumbers [I forgot his name] showed up the next day. He told me that I could save money if I ordered the pump on line as All Service does have a "mark up" if they supply the pump.
I located the model number, went to Amazon, typed in the information and ordered the corresponding recirculating pump. It quickly arrived, I scheduled a 2nd appointment and Ray showed up to install the new pump.
However, the pump that Amazon showed as the replacement for the old model number was incorrect and I had to send it back.
I went online again, located another pump, had it delivered and Aaron arrived to install. It only took him less than a hour and with the few minutes left Aaron also repaired sticking faucet handles in the bathroom.
Aaron gave me a bill for $210 [one hour charge.] I told him that I wanted to pay him $300 to compensate All Service for the prior two visits but he insisted that he would only accept $210.
What plumber, when offered more money for a job, declines?

I have to update my review. I have dealt with them for over 8 years and had them do work for me and my mother. Today is the day I fired them. Apparently the owner Dominic thinks it's ok to charge $210/ hr for a 15 minute job. The plumber came out, spent 15 minutes fixing my mothers toilet. (A toilet they had looked at before and didn't fix completely) and then proceeded to look at X rated pics on his phone. My mother saw them!

The labor rate the last time I hired them was $120. Not only did they virtually double it they didn't feel it necessary to tell me this before I hired them.
Jeanine, the nice office lady they had is long gone. Wonder why? Greg called me in a borderline panic wanting to know how they would get paid. Jeanine always emailed me an invoice and I paid promptly. This time I guess I was just supposed to give them a credit card number and not even know what the total was? What kind of dishonest business practices are these?
DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPE. They are crooks and we have plenty of other plumbers to choose from around here. Lesson learned.

I have enjoyed the work of All Service Plumbing since 2019 and each call was handled in a very professional way. My experience is that they really want to exceed the customer's expectations. They recently did a valve installation on a new shower; again handled in great way! Over the years Aaron, Brandon, David, Greg, and Rey have completed various jobs and they are all welcome to return!

I've been using All Service Plumbing for years and they are always great and yesterday proved it again called at 4pm clogged drain guy was at my house by 5 and got it all fixed and it's never worked better can't say enough good about this company glad we have a honest company we can count on the peninsula you guys rock thanks again.

I called to schedule re-piping a connection to our water softener. Everyone I interacted with from the scheduler on the phone, our estimator (Ray), and plumber (Aaron) were professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.

Scheduling was hassle-free and service delivery was surprisingly quick. The plumbing work was top notch and exceeding my expectations. My experience with All Service was great and would recommend in a heartbeat.

I want all potential customers of this business to know and understand how they charge for their services. At this time, All Service Plumbing charges $210 for the first hour and then $140 per subsequent hour or part thereof. This is the exhorbitant labor component. They also charge (AND MARK UP) materials used in the repair or installation. In a repair at my house this week, they charged me $345 for a part that retails at their source for $228 (although they probably got it much cheaper as a contractor). I know this because I called the store from which they purchased the part to check (a pressure relief valve).

So be aware that All Service Plumbing (at least in my case) marks-up materials by well over 50% from their cost. I now understand why they completely refused to disclose their costs of materials to me when I asked.

When you use All Service Plumbing, please be aware that they charge you (alot) for their time and that they also make a ton of profit from the materials that they use.

Caveat emptor.

I hired All Service Plumbing to troubleshoot and repair a problem with our bathroom shower that was created by a plumber from another well-known local company after he replaced the shower faucet cartridge mechanism. The plumber and his supervisor insisted that the loud "thumping" sound and water leak from the shower head that ensued was caused coincidently by a loose pipe or pipes in the wall or ceiling adjoining the shower that created a "water hammer" and was not the result of the faucet repair. I disagreed,

At the advice of an acquaintance, I called All Service Plumbing and they sent plumbing technician Rey who made a thorough investigation of this unusual problem, and consulted with a co-worker. Rey installed two water hammer arrestors under the sink and at the hose bib but these did not solve the problem. Subsequently, he removed the two-piece shower cartridge installed by the other company and replaced it with a single-piece version. This solved both the "thumping issue" and the leaking water from the shower head.

All Service Plumbing did not charge us for the initial visit and did not markup the cost of the parts. Rey was persistent in troubleshooting the problem, efficient and professional in making the repair, and very positive and friendly throughout. Additionally, he arrived each time within the time framed given by his dispatcher.

I will hire All Service Plumbing in the future, and will request that Rey make the call.

All Service Plumbing is the best! At our house, they have installed a new water heater, repaired an outdoor faucet, replaced a faulty shower faucet, and cleaned out a clogged sink drain. The team members are always professional, honest, skilled, efficient, polite, and friendly. Brandon and Aaron have done most of this work and they are excellent!!

As an electrical contractor, working with a company as efficient and reliable as All Service Plumbing is great!
Greg is very thorough with estimates and always on the money-
It is a great thing when there are no surprise charges on a job!

Updated review: I received a call and a visit from Aaron who is part of the OG team we have grown to love. He was able to identify the issues and fix what was not done by the other older gentleman the day before. Aaron completely redeemed the situation and our feelings towards All Service Plumbing.
Just one bad apple it seems and I hope we can continue to keep the bunch that have given All Service the reputation for being competent, kind and professional plumbers.

This place used to be great when Dominic was there with, I believe his Sons.
Now - some older guy comes who I'm sure means well but he is super sloppy and literally my issues get worse when he leaves.
We had an odd smell coming from the toilet and for good measure, I wanted the tub to be snaked as well. He left after pulling the toilet off and reseating it and I have gunky wax seal grime EVERYWHERE. The scent remains and now the toilet won't stop running AND now the pipe is loose from the wall!!! He was yanking at the tub for so long and told me to just have him come back another day to fix it because he was convinced it wasn't just a hair clog but some lever thing. It got so complicated and the drain cover wasn't even reattached when he left. It's now really late at night and we are trying to get the toilet to just stop running now!
Still have the clogged tub and the original foul odor from the loo.
Just absolutely nothing improved and now it's a lot worse!
Before this, I called for our dishwasher to be looked at. I asked if it was possible for them to determine if the issue was electrical or plumbing related and they said they can fix both! Great. Same guy comes and pulls the dishwasher out, doesn't listen to what I was trying to explain. He fiddles around A LOT and then tells me it's probably less to buy a new dishwasher because it might be electrical which they don't handle! WHAT! I specifically asked that before booking the appointment. So then they want to bill me for a fee hundred dollars and the guy couldn't even put the screws back into the wood to keep the dishwasher in place. He just left it as-is. Again - more problems, expenses and headache after he comes than before he arrives. Never again. So frustrating.
