Steve was exceptional! He got my car fixed up while we were on a road trip from TN. I'm so glad to have found some amazing people in this little town. We wouldn't have made it back home without him.

Back in April, I spent a few days traveling, truck made it through Missouri, parts of Kansas and Iowa, across Nebraska, down through Colorado mountains, up through Utah and half way through Nevada, then. . Alternator died, tow company took me here but they were closed, left a message on the answering machine and he returned the call first thing. the guy was super friendly, got me in before they opened fully the next day, had me on the road within an hour or two. Was completely honest, fair and in no way did he try and sell me repairs outside the issue. He worked to save me money instead. I actually wanted to hug him, but thought that might creep him out, so I didn't. I would recommend this shop highly!
Not sure if they remember me, Red chevy truck with the skeleton on the front and bear like dog. But I remember them, and thanks! I did make it to SF on time and I did get the job!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Thomas B.Zephyr Cove, NV04Jan 22, 2017
I lost the power assist on my brakes on a trip from Salt Lake City to Tahoe. It happened right in front of the Winnemucca Pizzeria, so I asked the locals there it they could recommend a mechanic. They pointed me to All Pro Automotive, which is only a block away. And they were right. Steve fixed my problem for a very fair price. Steve's an old school mechanic who has a passion for what he's doing, explains his work to the customer, and treats you with honesty and fairness. But he's also cutting-edge insofar as he uses Internet resources like YouTube to stay on top of things and learn the latest tricks of the trade. Pretty impressive. Highly recommended.

My A/C stopped working when I passed by Fernley, so I came to AllPro Automotive to check the A/C, and it turned out the A/C was overcharged. The mechanic there was really awesome, identifying the problem and fixing it in an hour. I cannot be more happy that my A/C is working great now thanks to this auto repair shop.

Steve does a great job got me in the day after I called I called at 5pm. The car was ready after two days for a problem I couldn't solve. Turned out to be a small broken piece of plastic stuck in the IAC (idle air control) great service at a great price.

On a long trip from the Ca coast to Boise we passed over the Sierras in our 220,000 mile Highlander. It began making this odd noise but no lights came on and at times it was quiet. We stopped in Winnemucca Nevada to sleep but also found Steve and All Pro online. It was almost 5 and I walked into his shop and he was working hard. I just asked for 5 minutes. He walked out, I turned on my car and he immediately said "It is your A/C compressor from running defrost on the trip." He soothed out nerves and unplugged it without disabling heat functions (it would drop to 15 that night!). I said "I should pay you something" and he said no thanks. I said "not for the time, but your expertise." He took only enough for for a couple beers and said "It is Christmas after all."
Oh - and did not try to sell me a replacement but said get one when I get back home.
Expertise and caring - he would be my mechanic if I lived here.
Thanks Steve.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sam C.Morgan Hill, CA081Jul 14, 2012
Undoubtedly the best mechanic in Winnemucca! Steve (The owner/operator) is honest, hard working, and helpful. It simply doesn't get better. Steve is a great mechanic that will make sure you have a great experience. I would happily go there again!
