All Clear Pool & Spa

I've been a pool owner for 23 years, and my mother for over 40 years. Small pool supply companies come and go, so it's been necessary to shop at Leslie's, then go down the street to a hardware store and buy something at half the price.

A few years ago I started shopping at All Clear. The employees are always great to deal with and are very knowledgeable. A week ago my booster pump went out and I made several calls as well and checked the internet. All clear had exactly the pump I was looking for, and it was a very fair price. Amber gave me the quote, and I picked it up from Don at the Arden Way location. Don also provided tips for the Polaris pool sweep and sold me some much needed tune-up parts.

Great service, great price.

WARNING: Steer Clear of All GREEN Pool and Spa

You know its bad when people like myself and others go out of their way to warn other consumers about this terrible company.

1. We had their weekly maintenance service for many years when this summer we noticed the pool started turning green (the very service we pay to prevent)

2. We noticed the chemicals were skipped for about 2 weeks which probably caused the damage and only after when we questioned this they let us know the usual guy was out sick... This we can understand as long as the situation is rectified but this was far from the case

3. I had to repeatedly call this place warning them our pool was only getting greener by the day until they finally, after weeks had gone by, had someone come out. I had to leave multiple messages and send email chasers for someone to come out to the house for the service we pay for.

4. They had all kinds of excuses for the delay and greeness, and long story short we paid for a new motor on their advice (which of course we find out should have been much cheaper) and were told to brush off the green pool ourselves. The very next day the equipment was again not running properly again and I let them know at which point the owner replied by dropping US from their service leaving our pool in th green state.

We finally were able to fix the problem with our new provider and ended up being ~$15 cheaper per month on top of that.

TL;DR: All Green pool supply's weekly service somehow allowed our pool to turn green even with our weekly repeating phone calls for help - the very thing we are paying to prevent. We were perfectly fine with them for about 2 years before all this happened so I suggest preemptively preventing damage.

I'm so sad to see the arden location close. Living in carmichael it was the best location for me. i will not drive to EG or Greenhaven. Summer is just around the corner, it's too bad that you closed when you did.

All Clear, you just lost a customer today. Mainly because of your inconsistent customer service. I suppose it depends on who works - it seems like we are greeted and asked if we need help about every other time we step foot into the store. Other times we are greeted with hard stares and gloomy faces. So it was bothersome but overlooked because you guys are so close to our house.

Today broke the camel's back. I waited on the phone for over 10 minutes to speak with Wayne, the store manager, about possibly financing through Lyon Financial, which I've already been pre-approved for and was asked by their rep to reach out to All Clear to see if All Clear would accept Lyon's contract. I already knew All Clear's finance company was Synchrony Bank and was inquiring only to see if it was a possibility.

Anyway, Wayne sounded annoyed and informed me that they're "only contracted with Synchrony Bank." When asked if he could ask someone or talk to the owners, he said, "No...well, the only person who would do that is Linda" then hung up.

Really? Could I have at least gotten Linda's number? Could you have at least asked someone or anyone else even if it was met with a firm no? Rude. Even though the quote we received from Adam's Pool is about $2500 more, we'll be going with them because we definitely do not want to deal with shady customer service should any issues arise with our pool in the future.

Don is such a knowledgeable and helpful sales staff. He basically manages and does everything the store needs by himself. Whenever I have a question he is glad to help and doesn't belittle you. 5 stars for this gentleman

Don was extremely helpful and I cannot imagine a more informative and comfortable experience. He helped me learn how to communicate with my valves connected to my motor providing suction to the skimmer. I highly HIGHLY recommend this pool service to any pool owners struggling to manage their pool. I seriously cannot emphasize enough the level professional experience and customer service I received. Perfect place to get all your pool needs taken care of! They are so helpful!! Offer great deals. I have gone into other similar places (by Whole foods) and I swear they will tell you that you need crap for your pool you don't even need, it's almost like they sell you that, so that you will need more crap to come back and buy!

They are legit, I needed a few items and the guy was like no you don't, you just need this.
I mean they probably could have made a mint off of me, due to my LACK of knowledge on pool items.

OH and they match prices. Well at least they did for me, there was something I wanted that was about $10-15 cheaper on Amazon and I could get same day FREE shipping.

My new one-stop pool shop!!

My dad has been keeping the pool at his house clean for the past 20+ years and my friends always tell me that it is the cleanest pool in Arden park. So when he asked me to write a review for All Clear Pool & Spa for him, you know that they must be doing something right.

My dad visited All Clear Pool & Spa and was helped immediately by the manager Daniel Lee. Daniel was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my dad's questions and concerns about replacing and maintaining his pool pump in the future. They had the basics that my dad needed such as chlorine and pool nets.

Amber was AWESOME! Either add another zero to her paycheck or build another level on the house she lives in, because she helped my dumbass out immensely. My roommates and I dropped the ball on up-keeping our pool, and I showed her the pics of the dumpster-fire our pool had become and she recommended all the necessary products we needed to fix the pool. Thanks for your understanding and knowledge, Amber.

Went to All Clear again today to get odds and ends that have worn out like a new
pole and new brush. We were greeted and helped immediately! Dan is the best. He's not
only knowledgeable but he goes out of his way to help understand what we need. We
are now a life long customers. So glad they moved to Arden!!! See ya soon!!!!
