Alfieri's Family Restaurant

I am rating this small town diner 3 stars because the food was good, not organic or vegan but way better than I've had at any Denny's or overpriced diner. I'm the organic type, I shop at whole foods and like fresh foods, on the road it is hard to find that sometimes and this place did the job, prices were great and the pancakes were sooo tasty, the eggs and homefries were delicious too. I didn't try the coffee. Warning this place isn't much of a looker & kinda looks like a shack, it's also across the street from a mobile home park. However if you are strapped for time and cannot travel to Scranton then this place will suffice.

Along our journey from Syracuse to Philadelphia we needed to pull off the turnpike and get gas/take bathroom break/grab quick bite to eat. We found this place conveniently located right off the exit (about a mile off) and right next to a gas station. Although this place isn't much of a looker the staff and customers were very friendly and the prices were cheap.
