My friends and I came here after a show at the 24th Street Theatre. It was such a fun and relaxing place to chill and talk. We ordered a chicken and rice dish, kibi, baba ganosh, and I think an empanada type thing. We shared everything picnic style and it was amazing. The rice and chicken was my favorite and the dish was enough to share with among 5. They even served spicy sauce with the rice which I appreciated greatly. Although honestly the spices on the rice are so exotic and delicious that I ate the leftover rice without hot sauce the next day. Yes, it's that good. We had two young girls with us and they loved sitting and playing on the cushions.
The service was charming. We were warmly greeted by a very friendly guy who took our order and helped us decide what to order and how much for our group.
One more thing I loved about the place is they do not at all rush you to finish your food and go. It's so mellow and welcoming you almost feel bad telling them you're done and you want to go home. I can't wait for my next Arabian night.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amel A.Fresno, CA113929Jun 23, 2018
The restaurant is in a really bad neighborhood. Parking is pretty creepy
Came in to the restaurant expecting really good food. The place isn't clean at all. Service was terrible! The guys seemed pretty annoyed from the moment we came in.
Food came right away. To be fair the rice, chicken, & lamb mandi was good. The Fatosh has too much dressing. I also ordered motabaq and it was nothing like what a motabaq looks like. I told the guy right away that it's not what I want he literally said "I can't help you"! It was very rude of him. We left it untouched and he still charged us for it.
The food was extremely expensive and not worth what we paid. Would never come back to this place. I would recommend going to a cleaner restaurant where they have better quality and service.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tia A.Katy, TX216189Nov 20, 2017
So happy to find this restaurant. A bit far from where I live, but it's worth the drive! The best Mandi rice in town. We always get the mix rice tray tho. Their serving is huge. We always have a lot of leftover.
This is my only go to place when I'm craving for Mandi or kabsha lamb rice. Both lamb and chicken are good! The red salsa sauce is my favorite too.
The people working there are very friendly.
It's nice to come here with family and friends, just sitting on the floor enjoying your meal and relaxing.
We've been here few times already and so far it's always good.
I don't understand of some of the bad reviews? Their food is always fresh and tasty. This kind of food it's not easy to make! It need long preparation, so it's not like cooking steak that you just put on the grill and serve.
I highly recommended.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Laurent T.Yorba Linda, CA70105161Feb 16, 2018
Food
Mandy Lamb and Chicken
Saffron, turmeric, star anise, and nutmeg nose. Spices and light salty palate with rich creamy undertone on rice. Lamb was stewed with gamy and smoky nose and medium salty note. Chicken was more turmeric on the note and less salty in flavor. Both protein were moist and tender. Both proteins were cooked in a tandoor clay oven. Raw onion gave rigor, natural sweetness, and crunchiness. The rice absorbed plenty of meat juice/stock. Brown sauce had raw chili and tomatillo sour note, not unlike salsa verde. White sauce was cucumber-mint yoghurt with sour note, too. A nice experience. 4.25/5.
Service
Family business. Extremely laid back although friendly. Order took awhHookah service available. 3/5.
Ambience
2/3 floor seating, 1/3 table. A great setup for group and socialization. The divest dive, though. 3/5.
Total experience was 4-/5.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Monica S.Lahaina, HI23117May 21, 2018

If your looking for an authentic Arabic food restaurant then go here. They have tables and majlis cushion area. It's very quiet and soft atmosphere. And the food was GREAT. Authentic Arabian food that tastes great. I huge plate set us back around $50. Mind you, the plate it big enough for 4 people.
I went here for iftar and ordered the Kabsa. It was delicious ! They even gave us Mamool cookies and dates with water.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
