I would really recommend getting the Breakfast Burritos here! Every time I go here, I get a mixed breakfast burrito with carne asada and bacon.
Compared to all of the other places like this in Utah, Alberto's has the most quality ingredients. And not to mention that their green sauce and red sauce are amazing and you can have as much as you want. Definitely would recommend.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Benjamin S.MA, MA0101Apr 24, 2024
Very good pollo burrito and accessible. Also have great deal with a punch card. Recommend.

First of all, this is a drive-through, not a restaurant. I ordered the fish tacos and the guacamole - both were extremely bland and they did not give me any sauces. The fish was OK. I have no reason to return.

Fantastic fast Mexican, they are always polite and the food is always delicious.
They are open 24 / 7 which is super convenient as I work odd hours.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 10, 2023
The best breakfast burritos in town, available all day in 5 variants, including excellent chorizo. Everything I've had here is excellent, the service is friendly and they clean the dining room regularly. They are open from 7-11 everyday and not overpriced.
They have three locations in Salt Lake City and like a fellow Yelper wrote in a previous review, they have all the essential elements of a "TOR" suffixed establishment. I had similar experiences in my own college town.
They are very good at changes to orders, such as adding or subtracting items, cutting them in half, etc. You cannot say anything bad about this place and it's food and experience seem consistently excellent and reliable. The portions are reasonable too, so you can safely order one breakfast burrito instead of two.
The chorizo is cooked correctly in potatoes and then drained and removed, which is the secret to correctly cooking it most places don't do. That's why it's flavorful, not full of grease (overall) and why the bottom of the burrito isn't soaked in grease.
Generally, places with authentic food that's convenient like this, I generally speak Spanish to remove confusion, but here it's unnecessary. You'll get exactly what you ordered and it'll taste excellent.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - holly p.Salt Lake City, UT21524Apr 5, 2024
Amazing. Not sure if they got new management, but this is definitely the best fast food Mexican in the city.

Not a lot to say -- but I stopped in to get a breakfast burrito (bacon) and it was pretty good. The workers were friendly, and the food came out quick! The breakfast burrito was also a good size. I think it's also at a great price point. I also like that their breakfast burritos are served all day!

I'm traveling through Salt Lake City and my hotel is down the road so I gave Alberto's a try. The restaurant is clean and service is friendly and food is prepared quickly. Prices are reasonable. You order at the counter and you pick it up. No frills but food was fresh. I had a carne asada burrito. Meat was tender and plentiful. I couldn't finish it. Food quality, flavor ok.
Based on price point it's worth a try.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mike H.North Las Vegas, NV061Mar 7, 2024

This morning, I went to Alberto's for a breakfast burrito. Service was quick and the restaurant was very clean. The price for a large chorizo, potato, egg and cheese burrito was reasonable. The staff was pleasant and asked if I wanted sauces.
The burrito was warm, freshly made and large. The flavor was lacking especially when it included chorizo. Not greasy but, the burrito was not good enough for me wanting to finish it. Perhaps a little oil or grease added would help improve the flavor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ky S.Walnut Creek, CA667259Jul 1, 2023
Holy cow! This California girl is impressed with this restaurant! The food has wonderful layers of flavor and the fresh salsas are fantastic! I had the adobada tacos which had a generous amount of guacamole on top. Delicious!
