I did not buy my dress here, rather just had my existing dress altered. Their seamstress, Sam is SO delightful, and she knows what she's doing. She's very talented. The cost seemed about on par with what a big-box bridal shop would cost for alterations, but here I got the personal touch and experience, plus got some 'bling' added as well.

Let me start out by saying that I would highly recommend going to this shop. I had been to several places before, but this one takes the cake. A young, exuberant young lady named Cali assisted me and showed great interest in finding me exactly what I wanted. She was polite, professional, and cheery without being over the top fake. One thing I hated at other shops was the staff that just thought everything was "wonderful" and "the best".
Cali started by asking me what I liked and did not like. Then she left us with some beverages in the private room. A few minutes later she reappeared with several dresses and we went to work. She listened to each critique of what I liked and didn't like on each dress. Once she got a real idea of what I liked she came back with more dresses. And low and behold, she found me the ONE. My only complaint was I preferred the sweet heart shape top better. Cali left the room briefly and reappeared with the seamstress. She took a look at the dress I loved, and the top I loved, and told me it was a fairly easy alteration. The staff at Albert Griffin made me feel important and extremely satisfied. Albert Griffin is a hidden gem of Lakeland! I went in looking for a prom dress out of season and they were so friendly, not overbearing at all. One of the owners Chris helped us find the dress. Chris and his associate were genuinely so sweet asking questions about my prom and answering every question we had, they truly know what they are doing! We ended up with a beautiful periwinkle beaded gown, could not be happier!

Recently visited for my daughter to try on bridal gowns. The staff is very accommodating and sweet, worked with my daughter to find the perfect dress. These people are genuine and care about the process whether you purchase from them or not, they seem to strive to make the experience an enjoyable one for all involved. We did end up purchasing her bridal gown from here and could not be happier with the selection and service given.

If I could rate this bridal salon higher I would! This is absolutely the BEST shop in Lakeland. I started my day here, went to two other shops, and then came back to purchase my dress. The shop is clean and well lit. The dresses are well kept. Above all, the service that was provided to me by all of the staff was exceptional! I told Katherine what I thought I wanted and she pulled dresses for me. She took note of what I did and did not like and only brought me things that fit that criteria. Everyone was extremely patient, had personality, was helpful, and very informative. I HIGHLY recommend this shop! Do not waste your time anywhere else.

I just have to say our experience was phenomenal! These girls made us feel right at home, very relaxed, laid back atmosphere. Catherine was our main assistant and she was so friendly and outgoing. They just went above and beyond for us and I recommend them to anyone and everyone! Go see them you won't regret it!!!

I'm so glad I found this bridal shop! Katherine is the best, she was so helpful and because of her I found my perfect dress!! I would highly recommend going here first, I wish I would have!

I had a great experience here with trying on bridal gowns. I came with my mom as a walk-in on a weekday afternoon, and we had the place to ourselves. Katherine, the stylist, made this the best gown-shopping experience I've had so far. She was incredibly helpful and unbelievably patient - I was considering one gown with a corset, and both times I tried it on, she happily did it up completely. I didn't end up finding a dress in the end, but the experience was great!

First off, lets just clarify that you had nothing to do with my SO called backup Seamstress... you guys had my dress for 3 month and yes you guys gave me my refund (which you should of) but now I have a week left till my wedding, holes in my dress where YOUR Seamstress ripped out her pins, and my dress is dirty (which now I won't have time to get it cleaned because you guys were jerking me around for so long) but you are right we will have a fabulous day thanks to fabulous Seamstress that is able to save us... we are apparently still one of the lucky ones...at least I got my dress!

Denise, We are deeply sorry that you had such a negative experience with our alterations staff. It is Albert Griffin Bridal's goal and duty to make sure that each and every bride has exceptional customer service. We try to go above and beyond the average bridal salon to make our brides happy.
People always say "you can't make everyone happy", this may be true, but we will surely try. We have and always will do everything in our power to accommodate a bride's needs to the best of our ability. Unfortunately in your case we were unable to accommodate your needs, But we are grateful that we were able to assist you in securing our backup seamstress within the timeframe needed and refund your total fees without question.

We started off with our appt, we asked several times for just a rough cost estimate for my bridesmaids dresses to be done. Samantha, The Seamstress, was rude and upset every single one of my bridesmaids to the point they all walked out and refused to use her or the salon...
I made the mistake of thinking because I trusted the bridal salon, the owners, and for the fact that this is suppose to be the biggest day of my life...I thought I would pay more not to have to stress... I stayed and had her pin my dress.... she tells me... that will be 550.00 but if we pay today she will do it for $500.00...
She stated at that time, I would have a couple of fittings starting in a few weeks from that day (even went as far to say... not to freak out on the 2nd fitting because it won't even have a skirt on it) So we paid in full and left... When I didn't get any phone calls to schedule my next fitting... I started calling...and calling.. and calling... I spoke to Clare, The receptionist, several times and left several messages (and I will add she accidentally slipped telling my mom and I that Samantha hasn't even started my dress yet.
However, Samantha and/or The Owners never called me back... Finally getting desperate, I contacted the Owner, Leigh, on Facebook and left another message, stating... that no way would I be ok with trying/seeing my dress for the 1st time 3 days before my wedding day... and that I needed an appt this Thursday (4/21/16) to at least make sure we are not going to need any major alterations and that I can not wait till next Thursday (3 days before my wedding). Plus let's be honest what Bride would be ok with dropping off her dress 3 months ago and seeing it for the 1st time 3 days prior to their wedding??? Not this one!!!
Leigh responded to my message and called me back... she also proceeded to tell me that everything will be fine, don't overreact because this is totally NORMAL and EVERY BRIDE goes for their first Tryon/fitting on the week of the wedding... but that she would schedule an appointment with me after she talks to Samantha... and we hung up... later that night, I get another call from Leigh saying Samantha will be at the shop at 8am to call her tomorrow... even though they open at 11am... she will pick up the phone!
I get up at 8am and call her... No Answer!!! I Leave the owner another FB message (because apparently that is the only messages she gets) and Finally on 4/20/16...I get a call back from Samantha...
Samantha was so RUDE and HATEFUL to me... Actually started the conversation by saying... "What is Wrong with You and What Do You Want me to do???"... I proceeded to tell her that I am NOT comfortable with waiting 3 days before my Wedding to see/try my dress on for the first time!!! She then told me that This is how she does it and SHE will call me next week to schedule my Appointment... I stated again, that I am not comfortable with that and that she herself told me when I dropped off the dress that she would call me within a few weeks and that I would need a another fitting... SHE GOT EVEN MORE RUDE BY Telling me... That's Fine...she would put all of the other dresses to the side since I thought I was SO Special and NO ONE elses dresses Mattered!!!
So now I'm really mad!!! Seriously, I dropped my dress of in FEBRUARY 2016 (beginning of February because that is when they asked me to come back to start my alterations...I did everything they asked me to do)... it is Now APRIL 2016!!! And you guys are going to pull that card... really???
After a very heated conversation, she proceeded to tell me that she refused to do my dress... REALLY? You held my dress since February... it is Now April and my wedding is in 10 days (she has NEVER even started my dress) and now I am having to find someone to do all of my alterations in less then a week...
This entire experience has been truly a nightmare...I would NEVER Recommend a place that allows this to continue to happen!!!
This should be one of my happiest times in my life, and because of them, I am so stressed out and crying 10 days before my Wedding...
I have watched Samantha interact with SEVERAL people and EVERY single one of those people left upset and REFUSE to use your salon.... I'm sorry but I don't see where that is exceptional customer service at all!!!
