On my second drink (my one beer at my home on a Tuesday night) the bartender at Al's deemed my Minnesota ID was fake and decided not to serve me. I am 24 (as of today) and the bartender (at Al's) was a (pardon my french) douchebag about it. No matter how many people offered to buy my drink (four people, the bar is slow on Tuesday nights) he refused to serve me. if you want to be specific about IDs, at least fucked learn them.

This place is alright, if you like good bartenders, good food from next door (sliders!), internet jukebox and pool tables. And a nice outdoor area to smoke herb. Can feel a little "sportsy" at times. Like, fuck hoppin around cuz of some millionaires dancin around in tights slapping each others butts. Go to AmVets and get barebacked, you duffles!

Worst bartenders in Missoula. Profile people as they walk in the door. Used to be a great bar and now never going back.

This place is awesome. Both bartenders are great people and Winter made the evening much more fun! The food their and at their attached restaurant is also delicious!

Great little lively dive bar! Was headed to James Bar...but the fun crowd is clearly over here! Friendly bar tenders, cheap drinks, good music and a couple pool tables in the back....check it out for a strong, affordable drink and a lil fun!

If you like a smoke free bar with weak drinks, then Al's and Vic's is probably not for you. They are fans of the long pour and you definitely get your money's worth if you're looking for a blurry good time. BUT, it is pretty smoky and it is one of the last few bars in Missoula where those who choose nicotine to complement their alcohol can still light up.

But I'm a fan, always have been. It's comparable to the Silver Dollar but with probably a slightly younger crowd. The bar tenders are great and you can usually jump on a pool table without waiting too long. What else do you need?

This place is a good blend of an upscale bar and a dive bar. It's features friendly service, strong drinks, and has a few beers on tap that you probably won't find elsewhere.
There's several tables as well, if you prefer to not sit at the bar, and several pool tables and dartboards in the rear. Not too fancy, but also not super divey either. Cool spot.
