The dock in stars is for my horrible experience yesterday. We went for lunch starving only to find out that they were closed. It says online they were open. Their sign in the store says open but there was a table placed in front of the door blocking anyone from going inside.

Two people working inside ignored me saying excuse me are you closed about 10 times. One employee, a girl, actually made eye contact and then continued to ignore me. With a 1.5 month old that I have to load and unload out of the car, plus being super hungry, plus the horrible customer service, I am not sure if I would be willing to go try them again. The least you can do if someone is asking you something is reply.

I was really bummed to see that Fuji's was closed and replaced with another restaurant. I'm not familiar with Halal food but it just looks like a burger and chicken place to me.

I ordered a the cheesesteak fries and a side of cole slaw. When I go to Tito's Tacos, I don't order a quesadilla. When I go to Tommy Pastrami, I ordered pastrami the first time there. So, I was kicking myself later for not sticking to a burger or fried chicken here. The cheesesteak was not that great but the fries were fine. The cole slaw was nothing special.

For the high price, I really expected either better ingredients or a huge portion. If I decide to return, I'll try the fried chicken. Just not too impressed.

      Cheese steak fries. Meh....

Solid 3.75/5 for their stuffed cheese burgers (choice of how cooked you want the patty, comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions)! A lot of flavor in every bite, and $6.25 for a fresh burger is a good price, and I was pretty content. However, my bf didn't have a lot of cheese in his stuffed burger, while I did get a lot of cheese. And the bun to patty ratio needs to be tweaked. The bun is a bit bigger, but not really an issue until the last few bites. *tip* dip the burger in ketchup and it takes it to a whole different level.

What tipped the scale down for me was the fries...They were not freshly fried, may have been sitting there from the first lunch batch, but that was pretty disappointing and cold. And you know it's not fresh when there's Nooo soggy fries in the batch.

Hope they change the fries the next time I visit! Definitely a promising place, just need to make a few adjustments and I'm sure they'll be well on their way.

I was craving burgers after work and drove all the way from Garden Grove to Fountain Valley to try Baba Khan out!

The place itself seems very clean and modern. I like the open kitchen view and being able to see the chefs work. An older gentleman who I assume is the owner helped take down my order.

I got the stuffed cheeseburger with avocado and egg as an add-on. When they were packing for my take out order the chef mentioned that he was going to put the bun and avocado on the side to not smash the eggs which I felt was very thoughtful. I'd hate to arrive home to a crush egg with the yolk soaking wet all over the plate. Luckily that was not the case cause they were considerate! The burger itself was pretty delicious. The grilled strings of onions made it exceptional. The only thing is I got too many toppings/add-ons so I could not get a super distinct taste of the meat itself. Less toppings next time so I can truly enjoy the taste of the cheese burger.

I also ordered a breast and thigh fried chicken. This was okay. It wasn't spectacular in terms of taste. Tasted like KFC or Popeyes to me so I would not order this again at that price.

Overall it was a good experience. I initially saw mashed potato and gravy on one of the Yelp pictures and also wanted to order that but it was not on their menu inside the shop so that was a bit of a bummer.

The restuarant was busy when I walked in, but staff was friendly and my food came out in a decent amount of time.
I ordered bbq wings, which normally come with buffalo sauce, but since I'm not a fan they were able to accomadate and do bbq instead. They were excellent; hot, crispy and juicy.
I also got the cheese stuffed burger and was pretty disappointed. If you look at the picture I posted, you'll see why. There was BARELY any cheese inside. I almost forgot I ordered it with cheese inside. The burger itself was okay. The patty was a bit bland and had that beef smell which it naturally has if it's not well done (and I did order well done).
Not sure if I'll be back for the burgers, definitely not the cheese stuffed, anyway. I would come back for the wings, however. I'd give 3.5 stars overall.

Located on the left side, almost near the back corner in front of Costco.

Stuffed Cheese Burger - got mine cooked medium. Patty was of thick, good quality beef and was "stuffed" with cheese inside, but the cheese wasn't really oozing out as much (maybe, that's a good thing since I don't like my burgers too cheesy).

Fried Chicken Legs - plain flavored fried chicken that is good when you want normal friend chicken that is better than supermarket stuff or not as low as KFC.

Food here will not stand out as uniquely memorable, but everything was solidly yummy.

So this is the new halal burger/fried chicken/philly cheese steak spot that has been popping up on my social feeds. As an avid burger foodie who also happens to have a tight circle of "zabihah preferred" friends, it was only a matter of time until I would get roped into trying this joint. Now let me preface this by saying, I'm a strong believer in the clean bathroom theory: messy bathroom = messy kitchen. And boy, is this place a hot mess.

My family came to enjoy breaking our Ramadan fast at this talked about place. There was a short line when we got there, and the manager/owner was very friendly and was spending some time with the customers in line, which is a plus. But I could tell that there were a lot of people starting to line up behind me, so to make it easy on the guy, I had my family's order ready for him Soup Nazi style. "One stuffed cheeseburger - well done with beef bacon, one philly cheese fries, one grilled chicken sandwich with cheese, one order of chicken wings, 2 drinks, one fries, and one hamburger - NOTHING ON IT, no sauce, nothing. (my kids won't eat anything else". He replied in the affirmative and I could tell he was happy that I was into the whole brevity thing.

Then we waited. And waited. And waited. The sun had set, and we could see chaos begin to unfold in the open kitchen. About half an hour later, only half our order finally arrived. My kid's burger arrived with sauce on it, ugh. I immediately told the guy in charge, and he said he would get it fixed... never happened. Then my wife's chicken sandwich arrived, it was not good, tasteless no cheese... and had MY beef bacon on it. She just ate the chicken and said the sandwich was forgettable. My burger arrived, raw in the center. I brought the burger back to him to show him and again he said that he would have it fixed. The fries never came. The wings came and were also subpar and soggy.

We waited another half hour and saw that instead of fixing our order, he was continuing to take new orders and attend to the newer orders rather than fixing our order. Finally, an hour after we had arrived, I gave up. I was going to ask the guy for a refund for at least half my order which never arrived, but he was swamped with other angry customers. I just tapped him on the shoulder and said "I didn't get half my food, I'm leaving" and simply left. He gave me a shrug with a look that basically said "help me, I don't know what I'm doing" and continued to try to quell the storm that began to embroil his unruly grease pit. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere.

Some would tell me to give them a pass because "they're new" or "they got overwhelmed" by the fast-breaking Ramadan crowd. Whatever. Turn people way politely with a coupon, set expectations at the door "current wait 45 minutes", or we just can't manage this volume, come back another time. I know, it's not easy to turn away business, but if you can't handle it, you can't handle it. Everyone suffers.

The manager tried to keep it friendly, the kitchen was chaos, the food was sub-par, and the ambience was nothing to write home about. If you are looking for halal burgers and fast food, you've got other options. These places don't get a pass because they only serve halal, they should have the same or better quality of food and service than a Shake Shack or an In-n-out. I will not be back, and they can keep my $25 and use it to buy a mop for the bathroom.

Half the food didn't arrive correctly, they didn't correct my order by 8:50pm so we just left without bothering to ask for a refund. Chaos.

I love burgers. It's really hard for me to eat a bad burger because my standards are so low. But Baba Khan...What a shame.

Came here for dinner and got the cheese "stuffed" burger and buffalo wings. Burger ($8) was ordered medium rare, came out medium. The bun was cold. The patty was flavorless. Barely any cheese. I was disappointed! Wings ($9)... The six pieces were very big and well coated but it tasted like any generic buffalo wing sauce. And it wasn't even hot!
Food took a very, very long time to come out. It seemed the staff was still figuring out the kinks. Best of luck to them...

Would I come back? Nah. For the price and wait, it was not worth it. Mediocre food.

Firstly, I'd like to mention how great the ambiance was -- super classy contemporary aesthetic.

More importantly, food was absolutely incredible. We got the Brisket Sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak, fried chicken and chili cheese hotdog. Food was absolutely incredible. The general manager/owner, Kasim, was incredibly friendly and helpful explaining to me the menu.

Highly recommend the fried chicken no matter what. It has the perfect crispy crunch in the outer layer with an incredibly juicy and flavorful inside. Best fried chicken I've ever had -- absolutely incredible.

The brisket sandwich was a perfect juxtaposition of flavors - sweet and savory.

The Philly cheesesteak was perfection. Incredibly flavorful.

The hotdog was surprisingly light for such a filling meal. And I'm not big on chili but this one was delicious.

All in all -- solid restaurant. 10/10 all around. I would highly recommend taking friends and family here, especially for those who eat only halal/Zabihah. I'll definitely come again very soon!

[3.5 stars. Today was the opening day so I'll cut some slack.]

I'll begin with saying that this place has potential. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I initially wanted to order a side of fries and the boneless Chicken Bites with my fried chicken, but they were out of both at that time. The employee added an extra piece of breast to my order for free, which was nice.

My co-workers and I sat down, and noticed that much of the decor did not change much from their predecessor, Fuji's (which we were actually surprised to find out had closed very recently). There was a difference in the colors of the walls, but the tables and chairs were both similar if not the same.

Luckily, we made it just before the lunch rush, but our food did take quite a while to be completed (~20 minutes). We're not sure if we heard our names called either? They might have been too busy taking the new orders coming in. I heard that their shipment of fries was late as well, so one of the employees had to run to a store to pick up some. This was probably why our order of buffalo chicken fries also was finished practically when we were done with all our meals (~40 minutes).

Food quality was, admittedly, pretty average. The spices and flavor of the fried chicken I had were nothing special, so I ended up dunking my pieces in the barbecue sauce that was provided. My co-workers had a hamburger and a brisket sandwich, and noted they'd give those a 7/10.

I don't know if I'll be returning soon, but I'd be open to trying this place again after the dust has settled. Best of luck to this new business!
