One of the best taquerias in the area. I probably eat here at least once or twice a week. Would recommend over mad over to anybody.

It was sunday, passing through anacortes in a hurry for the ferry and Mis 5 Estrellas was closed, how about this place? Well... avoid I think.
We ordered the nachos and 4 soft tacos.
The good:
Everything was packaged extremely well. Great containers, tacos were wrapped individually, and food was served piping hot.
The portions are huge. I was stuffed after 2.5 soft tacos
The not good:
Nachos: ingredients not good. We threw most of it out, not good ingredients, no spice, no fresh anything. A big tray of yuck.
Tacos: Ordered a mix of carne asada and the al pastor. In both cases the meat is bland and tough. Had been sitting for a while. There's not much fresh anything in this food.
Stomach felt sick the whole next day.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Tom T.Anacortes, WA01Apr 21, 2024
all ways surprises me how good the food is and I have been going there for years. Great people serving the best food! Tom Thompson Anacortes

This dinner hit the spot after a long day at work and then on the road. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was predictable and came out quickly, which was great.
The food was hot and just okay, which was fine by us.
I doubt we'll be back, but if we're hungry and out of our element, our plans could change.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 29, 2023
Do you want a burrito big with girth. A burrito with heft. A burrito that is thicc. A burrito that you could do arm curls with.
Then order the burrito 10. The thing is huge. Well worth the price and a meal all it own. You won't even have room for the complimentary chips and salsa.
The nachos...oh lawd...they are so well loaded and portioned.
This place has the best Mexican food in anacortes.Helpful 0Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 0 - DiAnn S.Everett, WA03Dec 30, 2023
Agave Taqueria, is my absolute go to for Mexican cuisine! The "Dedos Burrito" is my favorite and I usually can get two meals out of it. They have a drive-through that makes it so easy to grab and go, but a nice ambience in the quaint dining area.
When my kids come to town, they are definitely a go to for the whole family. Five stars from us for sure. The family that runs it are such kind and happy people we've always had exceptional service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brian R.Anacortes, WA03Nov 30, 2023
Great Mexican food. Small restaurant with an authentic Mexican market feel. Seriously the best salsa in town.

Order the wet burrito. It's outstanding.
If you want excellent, quick, reasonably priced and generously portioned Mexican food with good service then here it is.
The wet burrito knocked my socks off. It was delicious.
The chips were fresh made and pretty typical. The salsa was too hot for my taste but I also have a low tolerance for spicy hot anything.
The staff and service were great.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
