I had it with this place. We moved in this August. You're given 48hrs to do your apartment inventory otherwise you're responsible for any repairs. They took two weeks to come and repair few things, our microwave is still not been replaced and our bathroom shower tabs. The noise is horrible, thin walls. Our neighbors upstairs are the most inconsiderate people. Fights people and stuff been thrown around all day long . Even at late or better say early hours of the night . This place has not security, so no one to call for excessive noise complaints. I have called the office many things, left many messages, sent emails, with NOT response. The place starting to feel unsafe for me and my family, anyone can come and go. Plus Robberies and car brake ins. My package was stolen before we even moved in to our apartment. My husband's work truck was broken in last night as of September 7,2023. They stole his tool box from his van which had so many locks. Still managed to get his stuff stolen. I'm very disappointed that the office. Or the apartment complex management don't come through with keeping this place secure for families. We pay a very high rent dues and apartment insurance that only covers ultimately the complex also pay for home damages coverage deposit monthly through jetty. All this payments to cover the complex needs but what about our needs as tenants. We need more security, we need our home apartments to be equipped with what the lease agreement is. And we need to feel safe and enjoy a relaxing time in what we called our home. With Advenir at the Milan is not the case.

my 6yr son and I relocated here in May of 2021. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the management here. Or the community itself! The vibe from all tenants and the staff is very friendly and chill. The sense of togetherness is high. I know my neighbors look out as do I. As far as maintenance concerns, any requests submitted have been answered in a timely manner and those consisted of fixing the electrical outlet on my patio and the leak in my kitchen faucet. They are even said they would install a fan where in the living room. I think there used to be one, but somehow was not there anymore. During the pandemic and the hardships people have suffered, they have been very understanding and not rude at all. I'm happy here and feel safe. I will say the car vandalism is more than it should be. And that needs to be addressed. But let's not forget that we are located just on the edge of Sugarland/Meadows Place area and the start of Alief. I cut for Alief (SWAT BABY!) however we all know it gets a little rough around the edges in some neighborhoods and the crime is higher. You should know that walking into it and be aware and smart. It's Houston. Big cities come with crime. It's inevitable. Don't judge the beautiful community for the crime. It's everywhere. Years ago I've heard that there were kick doors and robberies but I don't see that even being the case now. Only car vandalizing.

PROS:
- The apartment layout is spacious. Landscaping, lobby, and pool area are beautiful.
- Meadows Elementary is a top notch, and that there is a bus especially for this complex.
- Occasionally, there is a fun activity or food event for the residents by the CARES team.
- Gym, gas grills, pet park, children's playground, ample parking
- The party room next to the lobby can be used to host parties free of charge.
- Neighbors are friendly, and there are lots of kids here. There is quite a diversity of ethnic groups, especially Indian and Pakistan. It is a nice community, and we've made many good friends here.
- The rent is lower than most complexes in the area.
CONS:
- Burglaries and Robberies. Sadly, there were two break-in robberies in my building alone last month where thousands of dollars of jewelry, purses, and even a gun were stolen. There have also been armed robberies in the complex. It is easy for non-residents to enter the gates, and the cameras don't work. There is a security guy that comes once a day to do a couple of rounds, but I don't think he's here more than an hour. You are required to get renters insurance, but that won't cover jewelry and certain items. I suggest you limit the amount of valuables in the apartment as the doors can easily be kicked in. Yes the doors are metal but the wooden door frame breaks apart.
- Maintenance issues can take months to get resolved. It can take over 2 months to get a dryer fixed or a lightbulb changed. Make sure the staff put any requests in the computer; otherwise it will not happen.
- We've had an ant problem in our apartment for many months that has not been resolved
by the pest control contractors. The ants are in the walls and come in through small holes and light fixtures. There are regularly large ant piles outside that you have to watch out for. Your kids will probably get bitten if they play outside.
- Common areas are seldom cleaned. Stairways and hallways are littered with bird poop, trash, food, cigarette butts, and stains. Once I had to remove a decomposing bird because they didn't send any cleaning person in over 3 months (and it was filled with maggots).
- If the maintenance staff come in to fix something, they will leave a mess on the ground for you to clean up.
- No recycling
- Workout room only has two treadmills. For a large apartment complex, you'd be lucky to get one if you work out after 6pm, when people get off work. One of them is also regularly broken. You probably won't want to work out here anyway because the thermostat is usually set around 80 and you'll probably pass out from heat exhaustion. Might as well just go jogging on the roads. There is a quiet neighborhood across the street and a Slockett Park a few blocks away, a 10 minute jog. Or if you can try Eldridge Park, about a 30 minute jog.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Katalini T.Houston, TX0325Jul 2, 2018
I would put a zero 20 plus cars were broken into this is the second time! They didn't do anything about it. Rent was due, they promised they would help with paying the windows also with the rent! They have cameras that don't work. A security guard that comes every three months. Maintenance don't fix things properly. The people who own the company don't do anything. They are in debt with a construction company for remodeling the apartments! The debts around 75,000 dollars! If you're looking for apartments here you'll regret it just like we have regret it. Worst place ever this place isn't safe. People come in and out that don't live in this apartment! Horrible company worst ever!
