Our dreams of having a baby are finally being realized because of the expert guidance, persistence, and support of the dedicated doctors, nurses, and entire staff at ARCH.
I'm not going to sugar coat this...Infertility was a very long, painful, and expensive process, with many layers and years of working through different treatment options and difficult emotions and decisions to finally finding the right solution for us. Everyone's situation is different-and hopefully if you're reading this review yours is going to be an easy fix-but this is my story.
We interviewed 3 other very well respected fertility clinics in Honolulu and I am so glad we stayed with Dr. Christopher Huang and his team on this journey. He is an excellent doctor and always made me feel well supported and comfortable even when giving me news I didn't want to hear. Laura is the kindest and most patient IVF Nurse and she held my hand through the hardest parts and every part of the process with sincerity and warmth. They were always very patient with me, and always answered all of my questions as they arose.
People lash out with negative reviews sometimes because they are frustrated that things aren't going how they hoped or planned, but I guarantee-if someone facing the obstacles I faced in my situation can become a mother, there is hope and I would definitely make the same decision to work with ARCH if I had to do it all over again. Thank you again for helping make our dreams of having a family finally a reality.

Our baby has arrived and she's amazing. Thank you ARCH doctors and staff. You're the best and made our dream of having a child come true.

My husband and I will eternally be grateful to Dr Arnett, Dr Huang, and their amazing staff for helping us complete our family with two boys. Our journey started back in 2016. Our sons were born in 2017 and 2022. Their office is a well oiled machine. They responded to emails and calls quickly. Instructions and calendars were sent the same or following day. Always easy to get a hold of. They answered all our questions. They were compassionate, kind, and respectful. The doctors and IVF nurses ride this emotional rollercoaster with you. I would recommend ARCH to anyone wanting to expand their family.

Came out of Yelptirement to update everyone since my last review.

I kept putting off my update because I wanted to be careful and get past my second trimester safely. Everything was kind of touch & go, so just wanted to be careful until I was in the clear. Yeah, a bit stuperstitious I guess.
I'm currently 6.5 months pregnant with my little one after a 2nd IUI procedure with Dr. Huang, due in January!

Dr arnette and Dr huang and there team is amazing. Not only did they help me conceive bt they have closely monitored me every step of the way. all the staff, nurses and doctors really care about you and want to help your family dreams come true. we did 3 rounds of IUI bt no luck.. and finally we have decided to do IVF. my first IVf was successful and i am currently 11 weeks and 5 days pregnant. i couldnt be more thankful for everything they have done for me. thank you dr huang and dr arnett you guys are the best...

Dr. Arnett and Huang were thorough from the beginning, devoting as much time as needed to answering our questions about the upcoming fertility treatments. It was a long road but completely worth it. Great staff all around.

Do not come here. If you have issues with endometriosis or fibroids they won't check for you. They will tell you they will monitor it. They won't do anything to help your odds. Dr Huang is probably one of the most arrogant doctors who speak 100 miles a minute without regarding whether or not you understand what he is saying. Mind you if you mention you think you thought you had symptoms of pregnancy he will say well it didn't happen and move on.

Don't do it. Don't waste your money on this guy's practice. Try other doctors first. Trust me. I will never refer anyone to this guy. He was fired in a Kailua practice so makes me wonder what he was fired for before he got help to open up this office. If it was for lack of empathy and lack of patient understanding I would definitely believe it.

His staff is supportive and wonderful. I can't say the same for him.

I actually saw Dr. Huang to address my thyroid issues. You may be wondering why I saw a doctor at a reproductive center for something that seems unrelated but as it turns out, Dr. Huang is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist (apparently it's not incredibly common) and was willing to hear me out based on my symptoms and treatment thus far.

I had researched alternative treatments and we discussed those options with an open mind...on both sides. I wasn't fixated on only hearing what I wanted to hear and Dr. Huang wasn't only speaking to me as if his answer was the word of God. I came prepared with my lab histories and we talked about changes we could make to my treatment to get me feeling better once and for all. Feeling like I found a doctor I could partner with was step one. I appreciated Dr. Huang telling me he was willing to investigate another approach even though he's not incredibly familiar with it. Ultimately, I opted to change my dosages of my current prescriptions - Dr. Huang's idea - rather than going a completely alternate route - my idea...and so far so good!

I know all doctors don't work for everyone. I too had a falling out with my own physician treating my thyroid and that's how/why I ended up speaking with Dr. Huang. I'm of the thinking that we have to take active parts in our treatments and communicate with open minds. I have not and will not bash my former doctor on Yelp and it confuses me to see people doing that here. (How someone would know about and mention a firing seems incredibly suspicious to me.) If the doctor isn't right for you, move on to someone else. We have choices here in the US (for now), so exercise those rights!

We had another great experience with this office! We decided to go for baby #2 and it worked again on the first try. We are so grateful for Dr. Huang, Dr. Arnett and all the nurses' hard work. This time around we had a small hiccup with my ovary that may have meant that the cycle would not work, but the doctors put their heads together and came up with a medical solution that saved me a lot of time, anguish, and money. I really attribute this to their many years of experience and wisdom. I think that although Dr. Huang may talk fast, he is genuinely caring and wants you to succeed. I know from my years of working with his office that if you have a concern or a need, they are more than willing to talk with you and resolve the issue. The nurses are amazing at communication and always got back to me right away.

I hate giving bad reviews on Yelp but I feel this one for Dr Christopher Huang and his partner Dr Christina Arnett is warranted as it cost my husband and I a great deal of emotional distress, money and time. If you are going through infertility issues, you know how emotionally draining it can be so you would want your fertility doctor to do everything in their power to help you when you're so desperately in need.

I started trying to conceive in January of 2015. After about 8 months I told my then OBGYN, Dr Lynette Tsai that I thought something was wrong but was told by her APRN to get an ovulation kit. I told them my periods were horrible with pain and clots and that my mother had endometriosis so I thought I too might have it. Finally after a few months of complaining to them, I was sent for an ultrasound that only confirmed a large fibroid on my uterus so I was referred to Dr Arnett and Dr Huang for my fertility issues. They present to be nice but always rush through appointments and talk a mile a minute which kind of makes me feel that they lack empathy. This was my first time going to a fertility specialist so I had no idea what to expect. They told me the first step for me is to try intrauterine insemination (IUI). I was also put on Clomid which ended up making my uterine lining too thin in the first round of IUI. Dr Huang suggested a second round of IUI, still with Clomid. You'd think he would try a different approach as the first round showed the Clomid thinned my lining but nope, he proceeded with the same plan for round two. After that second round didn't take, I felt so depressed and wanted to give up. I told Dr Huang and Dr Arnett that I wanted to see if the fibroid on my uterus (which they suggested I leave alone) could be removed as that might be the issue and at the same time they could check for endometriosis but nope, they suggested I continue with round three of IUI but with VERY COSTLY injectable hormones. I even reiterated that my mother had endometriosis so I thought I might have it too as I suffer from all the symptoms but was brushed off with "oh but some women have endometriosis and can still get pregnant". Trusting them, I did round three of IUI. After that failed, that was it. I talked to so many others struggling with infertility and many said that once they were treated for the endometriosis and had it surgically removed, they got pregnant soon after and naturally! Everyone suggested I switch to Dr Thomas Kosasa or Dr Benton Chun. I switched to Dr Kosasa right away and the first thing he did was tell me that I needed to have laparoscopic surgery to see if I had endometriosis. I just had this surgery two weeks ago and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. Dr Kosasa said it was everywhere and even all over my ovaries! Luckily, he was able to remove it all and now my husband and I can try conceiving naturally. Now we have the same chance as anyone else without endometriosis. I feel so frustrated, hurt, angry and let down by doctors like Dr Huang and Dr Arnett. I don't know if they realize how hard going through fertility issues is and all the emotional stress it causes patients but please please please, remember why you became a fertility specialist. It's not all about the profit, it's about your patients' well-being. Without your patients, you wouldn't have your private practice. Your job is to help women conceive their blessing and give them the best chance they have. That means checking them for EVERYTHING that could be hindering them from conceiving like, endometriosis and listening more to their concerns.

Good luck to all you women out there trying to get your miracle. It is a journey that will all be worth it in the end. But do your research and be careful who you go to for help!
