Yesterday, 6-27-18, at approximately 4 PM (putting these details in so they will know who was working), I stopped in to get new wiper blades. A sales associate came over to help me pick out a set. The phone rang (there were other people working there too) and the associate abruptly left me to answer the phone. As I stood there, I could hear him asking questions to the caller to look up parts. WHAT?! You have a paying customer in person you're helping, and you leave to help someone over the phone? I stood there for a few minutes, then left and went to Autozone which is right next door. Autozone quickly helped me and installed my blades! I realize Advance Auto only lost a $50 sale yesterday, but they impacted my shopping decision forever... I always went to Advance Auto in the past, but if they can't give attention to a customer standing there in person, I'll take my business elsewhere!
