Adobe Rose Bed & Breakfast

This beautiful hidden gem was the highlight of all the accommodations we stayed in during our roadtrip through AZ/NM! It's definitely worth staying here as opposed to staying in Carlsbad in one of the generic chain hotels.

The inn only has four rooms available, so it looks like an adorable adobe casita. I had booked the deluxe room, which featured two bedrooms separated by a barn door and one full bathroom. It also had a sofa and TV in one room, and a fridge and coffee maker in the other. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated, and the sheets smelled like they were home-washed, not industrially like you get with hotels. It felt like staying at home. The garden area is also a great place to sit down and relax.

Due to covid, they were not at the time doing full breakfast, however, they did provide breakfast and snack items in the room. This included cereal cups, cereal bars, small filled croissants, fruits, milk, fruit juice, coffees etc. They also have a restaurant next door, but unfortunately it was closed during our stay because it was Sunday.

I would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended it to multiple friends who would also like to do the same roadtrip I did. It really was wonderful to stay here!

This place is excellent and the young couple that own it are tremendous hosts. Breakfast stuff is ready when you wake up, whether that be 5 am or 9 am and the room it is served in is decorated tastefully with a southwestern flair (and by far the quietest room I have ever had the pleasure of having a peaceful breakfast in). The rooms are great, clean, and comfortable. Book early, as this is a four room bed and breakfast that is always busy. I got very lucky. The price is right on par with the other lodging places in the area, or less.

I love this place. The couple who own and operate it are awesome, Megan especially. The rooms are spacious and richly decorated in a southwestern style. There is even a restaurant in the same building. Breakfasts are great and I can heartily recommend their stacked enchiladas for lunch.
