ADCO Heating & Air Conditioning

Matt came out to our property in July to give us a quote for some work. The price was reasonable and we had received positive reviews from our local plumber. He said he would call back after the holiday weekend to schedule a time to come out and complete the work. We never heard back.

I followed up with the office on at least 4 separate occasions (waiting at least 2 weeks in between each call) asking for a call back to schedule a time to have the work completed, because I assumed like many business they had a lot of work. I have still never heard back even after letting the secretary know that this was an issue. It's October and time to move on to another company. I don't know they just feel it's not worth their time unless a customer is getting a new furnace, but I would say don't bother with this company.

Having a number of systems in our home, there were only a few local HVAC contractors who had experience with unique designs.

After receiving less than stellar service from our normal vendor, I ran across ADCO.

Matt came out the next day to look at our systems and sent a proposal with two separate options the day after that.

Doing our due diligence, we followed up with two other companies. One told us that they would only offer one option and that they were 10 weeks out.

Another scheduled, confirmed, and were minutes away when they read the notes for the appointment to tell us they don't work on this type of system.

I called Matt back on Monday. He said he will have parts by Thursday and we will be fixed by Friday.

Not only did he show up early, our system runs more efficiently than before. He spent a lot of time discussing the system build with me and we are likely going to go ahead with another project in the near future.

I appreciate his knowledge and the professionalism of his office team.

I hesitate to write this review with the rating as ADCO is a hidden gem, but it is well deserved.

They gave me a fair bid and did the work exactly on time. I have zero buyer's remorse for substantial purchase. I completely recommend! Thank you!

I was not sure who to call to resolve my AC blowing no cool air. I called ADCO cuz of good reviews and close to my house. Matt Barnes (the technician) called me back within 20 mins to let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival he was friendly and diagnosed the problem in no time. From my initial call to him completing the job was about an hour.

ADCO is the best. They installed my new REAM furnace and AC in 2005. Then in 2013 they installed a humidifier on my furnace. Every other year, they come out and do a serving.

Today I noticed my humidifier wasn't working so I called. They were out in 3 hours. Fixed the minor problem in two minutes and didn't even charge me. I don't care what all those commercials say on tv about the "big" guys. These local guys are the great. Reliable! Trustworthy!! Professional!!!

I'm a bit untrusting of HVAC guys, but Matt was great, didn't mind me lurking. He gave us peace of mind that our system was running fine. He didn't try to push us into a maintenance contract or up sell anything, just did the maintenance that the unit needed. I'd told him I'd replaced the filter and the capacitor when it went out recently, he didn't chastise me for being a DIYer, he gave me recommended brands for the capacitor so we'll probably go ahead and get a second one to have on hand. $90 later we're satisfied that our system is not going to up and die on us this season.

I've used Adco twice in the past year. They came last Fall to have a look at my furnace and repaired a pilot issue. I made the call and an HVAC tech was able to come by that same day and fixed the issue promptly. Most recently I used Adco's service again to repair my A/C unit. Again, they took my call and were able to have somebody have a look all in the same day. Matt, the HVAC service tech, was a nice guy and straight forward on the expected cost of repair. I would definitively recommend Adco.

Adco has consistently provided us with amazing service for years! My husband and I own a couple of investment properties, and HVAC systems can be one of the most expensive parts of our business. Matt has always made it easy for us to make the best possible decisions for our properties while keeping our costs low. We even use them for our own home! There's no one I'd rather call.

My furnace failed during the worst time of the year. Unsure who to call, I ask a neighbor who they used. Adco Heating was recommended. I called them and they were able to respond that same day. Matt was very friendly and able to get my furnace working. I was very satisfied and felt that they really cared. I would recommend them to anyone.
